2014 BTB Saturday dinner! Important, please read!

Hi everyone.

Unfortunately for us, Bennington Station, who've been awesome about accommodating us for our big Saturday dinner the past several years, no longer has the big banquet room so we've had to look for another dinner location.

It took a little time, but Robin took charge with her excellent knowledge of Bennington, and we have a new location! The Saturday dinner will be at the Mt Anthony Country Club in Bennington. It's a little further away from the hotels than Bennington Station, but still within walking distance.

Aside from the location, the dinner will be very similar to the past couple years'. See the BTB dinner page for full info.

IMPORTANT NOTE The country club requires a full headcount before the dinner, so EVERYONE must preregister. We will not be able to accept walk-ins, unfortunately. What's more, preregistration closes on Sunday, May 25, because the country club needs the headcount then.

Please don't procrastinate on the dinner registration, or you won't be able to join us.

Also, if you know people who are planning to attend the Bash but don't check this site, please tell them they need to preregister.

Hey Matt, was it the year before last that we came back from riding in the rain and Jim had called it quits about 10:00 am? Then since he wasn't riding, why not have a brew or three? It wasn't clear that even walkin' was gonna go that well. But Jim pulled it out. That's why he's the King!

It'll be just like last year. You're complaining that no one in their right mind could walk two blocks, and Matt and I end up carrying the cookies for you.

The KofF and I are riding over on Wed. to be Hamlinized. I'm assuming the work on the bikes will continue into Thurs. morning, then ride up to Bennington. Counting on your presence both days Jeff can certainly join us, though he may have to get to Bennington earlier to prepare the Tiger clubhouse.
