Please make it very clear to them that people need to preregister this year by going here:
http://www.armchaircommando.org/benning ... inner.html

I understand that a lot of people like to be impulsive or make it up as they go along or whatever, but we need to know solid numbers in advance. And it would be really nice for those numbers to be good. So far they're still pretty weak.

Everyone reading this, if you know people who are attending but don't check the site, please send them this way to register.

I've registered for the dinner, now I'm good for the BBQ, what's left? Right - the T-Shirts - off to the next thread!

Thank you. If you didn't already, be sure to click on the poll at the beginning of the BBQ thread. It shows 18, but I cant tell who checked off & who didn't. I'll assume most checked off except for the Rockers that were listed previously which I will add the the poll count.

Hi Alan-
I was only able to click once for myself, but there's a +1 for me.
Peace,

Hi Alan,

I clicked to indicate we are meeting at the barbecue joint, but there are two of us, and I apparently can't revote for my buddy. Am I understanding correctly that we will pay you at the barbecue, and you only need to know that there are two of us right now? I can also drop you a check ahead of time if that is what you need.

Thanks!

sevy

PS- Sorry, I can't put faces with names very well. Any unique identifying features like a siamese twin or a hump or something to help pick you out of the crowd on Friday?

Correct, Your posting tells me there is a plus 1. You will have to pay me cash at the meet & greet or at the BBQ & I will give you a wrist band to indicate you paid.

Thanks,
Alan

 Not to worry Sevy....you will be able to spot Alan because of his all American rugged good looks....He might have been a rugby player too....plus he'll probably be riding his new Speed Triple

Actually, I won't be on the new triple. Someone besides me wrecked it last week. Its in getting an estimate right now. So I'll be on the trusty silver tiger again.

 Sorry to hear about your S3 Alan...they are a fast hooligan bike and easy to get into trouble with...Is your older Tiger called a Trailie or a Steamer?

You mean Girlie or Steamer, Jeff. An '05 would be a Girlie. Steamers are the older pre-955 design.

"Trailie" is just a generic term for all of the ADV bikes and dual-sports.

:scratchhead: Where does the term girlie come from?

The rather "curvatious" nature of the overall design.
