Yes, Champlain Valley is correct. Technically I suppose we should be called the Champlain Valley and Green Mountain RAT Pack because many of our Vermont members don't actually live in the Champlain Valley, but whatever, close enough.

We've got over 50 people on our email list, but only a few regulars who ever show up for rides.

Next spring we'll need to start recruiting new members. Frank's has sold a whole lot of Triumphs to people who haven't joined the RAT pack, so we'll need to try to draw some of them in.

You asked who chedder jack is in you earlier post. He is a Vermont gut that went from riding dirt bikes to the 675 special edition bike this past spring. He showed up at the MEME event as his first long ride on it. We dubbed him Cheddar Jack after the friday night and saturday night drinking. I can't remember his full name but I'll email him from meme site and tell him to get in contact with you.

We didn't count, but we guesstimated about 70 or 80 or so. That's overall. If you were talking about CV RAT pack members, then it was 5 or 6 tops including Tito, Robin, and me.

Yeah... like I said, it's difficult to get people to turn up for events and rides.

And as it happened, that weekend ended up also not working out for several people who are active in the CV RAT pack. Hopefully they'll be able to make it this year though.

I'm hoping to make it this year. I think there might be a couple of other guys out here in Western New York who might be first-timers as well. I know there is a lot of interest in camping, but I think I'll have to go with something with a soft bed. Is there going to be a designated motel, or is that TBD?

I stayed at the Paradise and thought it was a good hotel for the money. Don't know about the Kirkside but it looked fine and I didn't hear anything bad about it. Much like last year I'm sure there will be designated places to meet up for rides and ? That's where the camping comes in. In all likelyhood 99% of people staying at the campground will be BTB attendees wich will make it much easier to party and assemble. That said, just being in Bennington that weekend means having a wicked good time.

Hey Beck welcome to the nut house. I think the Paridise will be the Hotel of choose for most and it was clean had plenty of hot water and comfy beds. If you like to camp then we will be at the Greenwood and I would imagine that is where most of the more laid back people will be hanging out in the evenings. I have what we have come to know around here as a redneck gathering in the evening and doesn't matter if you drink Diet Coke or a good pint of lager your welcome to come to the campfire and hang out we are all friends here and your input does matter. The man who started this site is the coolest Moderator you will find on the internet forums so post up my friend you will feel like you have known us for a lifetime by the time May rolls around.
