It was a great feeling. The wild-ass people on the road haven't changed much.LOL.

I hear you man , you can never be to cautious especially at intersections.
I am sure it any thing it was a very good learning experience.
A very tough one but, a good one at the same time.

It took me along time to not grab brakes when coming up on a intersection after my last splatter. Man just stay safe I am bikeless at the moment so I dont need to worry about cars with out a clutch bikes are worthless LOL. Dont ask I haven't taken it apart but 3rd to 4th gear shift at WOT and bike doesn't go anymore motor runs fine chain is still on and trans shifts fine. I am thinking I am building way to much power for stock clutches or maybe its the spray I am shooting into the airbox who knows .

WTF Limiter? or the clutch won't grab at WOT from 3rd to 4th. What does it do after that...
cut out ? or it just won't make the transition from 3rd to 4th at WOT.

Jimmy, a lot of the guys who do the 904 big bore just put in stiffer springs, plates are fune. Might try that.

It doesn't do anything it will not move the engine runs well. You put it in first gear and let the clutch out and nothing will let you know what let loose tomorrow. I have a real bad feeling it was the trans input shaft might have sheared off.

Man, Jimmy that don't sound good.
The stock clutch in our Bonnie's are pretty damn good.
Stiffer springs will stop any slippage.
I hope some thing didn't let go? I'm not sure what could just yet but, I will look in to it.
If the plates have been slipping they may have glazed over.
That will cause them to slip all the time. I had that happen on my old Bonnie.
It happened on the highway at speed I was getting on her and she started slipping
and then just let go.
I could start her up and she run fine , I could put her into gear and let out the clutch
and nothing she would not grab.
I pulled the plates out and gave them a good wire brushing and then she was good again.
If you are thinking of getting the Barnett plates let me know.
I have a set of the friction and plain plates with the gold springs that are like new.
They have under 3000 miles on them I measured them and there is "0" wear on them.
They just don't work right in the 2001 Bonnie's.
They go for $105.00 bucks on New Bonneville .com I will let you have then for $60.00
plus the shipping.

These things grab way better then the stock plates. There is no slippage at all.
When they grab, they GRAB!!! hole shots and picking the front wheel off the ground
are very easy.
I wish I could use them in my Bonnie but, I always had a problem with a slight drag and
it made it a real pain in the ass finding neutral. It is because of the old basket design.
Triumph changed the basket design from 2002 and on.

Hey Bill hit the email and send me the address. I will need them when I put my bike back together after winter tear down . I figured out what the whining noise in my primary was. I added springs this morning will post up the end result tonight but the clutches are smoked from racing at bike week.

To give you a run down the clutch basket came loose and had nothing. According to the Dealership its the way I work my gear box in and out of corners. I use my motor to act as a brake and gyro in the corners and hard on the gas out comes from years of running under powered bikes on the track easier to control the machine then on and off the brakes but the sudden up take of the clutch into a lower gear to stay in the power band produced by the cams and the smack of back on the gas out of the corners will work your basket loose HUH WTF. Anyway I am back on the road for the remander of the season and then this pig is getting foggers into the manifolds 25 hp (12.5x2), (thanks to Bill) heavier clutchs and tighter suspension and ported and polished with larger valves if money is avalible.
