I hang my head in shame when things like this pop up. I feel ashamed for that people actually buy into this propaganda. I also feel ashamed that people who are stupid enough to believe this garbage are allowed to vote.

I knew this would be the response to a post like this. I was emailed this from an "educated" person who preaches diversity. I know I put the dems in the bold print when I posted it. This is the kind of stuff we are facing every day from one source or another. The problem is this was generated to instill fear into un-educated people who believe everything they read. The muslim parts are true but out of context. Please feel free to say your two cents about this. When I got home tonight I had a invite on the answering machine to meet Palin's husband at a local hunting store. I will be glad will this election year is over. I am voting but right now I feel sorry that we are voting not enjoying the wind in our faces.

Brett, I agree this political stuff is getting very old indeed. These kinds of messages are the worst kind of slander and conjecture and are intended to play on the fears of people.

The majority of stuff in that message about Muslims is not true by the way. I have spent LOTS of time around Muslims and find them to be just like us and to be great friends. To imply someone can't be a true American based upon their religion is just dumb, I never knew there was a decision board out their somewhere judging who was a true American and who wasn't.

MIke I'm glad you feel that way. The complete irony is that this came from a political campaign supporter near my work. There was more self righteous speak in the meassage but I deleted that before posting this. It was done with complete disregard and utter spite to the true intentions of the political agendas.

I just want some dumb bastard to try to take my gun ownership rights away. I'll be at Hedges house with Jimmy.

I dont give a shit who you are if your not a American then get the fuck out. If you dont belive in this great land and the people that gave us the right to speak freely then get the fuck out. If you discribe your self and put any other word in front of American the go the fuck back to where it is you think is better Good Luck with that one. If for some reason things go bad and we have to fight on US soil its been a pleasure meeting you folks and if you want to stand side by side and fight for our rights then lets stand as Americans and show the world what we are made of. Now that being said I think normal political bullshit is getting the best of alot of us you have no idea what is true and what is not. I think we are in for a shit storm with either one of them but lets cross that river when we get to it. I think that we need to control the lying no good fuckin house and senate then only then will you get this country back to order. I am from the State of Delaware and if you have any thoughts of voting for the Demos better check lying Joes track record he is a crook and has been screwing shit up for you for 36 years and now he wants to change HAHAHAHAHAHAHA even he is not sure of Obama because he is still on the ballot in Delaware for his senate seat if he truely believed in the change would he have wasted his time to run for two offices NO he doesn't want to loose his fuckin golden parachute. As for making a stand OH HELL YEAH show up I will outfit you with what you need.

Jimmy, I'd like to see you should have your own radio show. You could call it ' This is Jimmy aaaand fuck you!' It might not last long cause most people don't want to hear the truth but it sure would be fun for a while. I'm not only for people who want to put words in front of America going to wherever it is they think might be better but would like to see them given a one way ticket to get there only they can't come back for at least ten years. After that if they do come back they have to pay back the price of the ticket (with interest) to have gone in the first place.
Ahhh crap, and I thought Biden was sounding good. Well, considering the choices we have I think we as a people will have to stand up and demand whoever gets into office start working for us instead of the special interest groups and lobbyist. I believe the problems this country faces all point directly back to our so called leaders in Washington (on both sides of the isle) working for special interest rather than the American people. I know I'm not going out on a limb but I truly believe this is the biggest issue we face. When there's nothing to get greedy over than laws and regulations will reflect common sense instead of someones long list of company perks wich come from companies they don't work for. Or do they?

I think if I had a radio show I would get shut down in a matter of hours not days. The people dont want to hear the truth they want free hand outs and someone to hold thier hands and tell them what to do. Speed and I have had this talk before our children are told to listen and do as your told not listen and think for yourselves. We are all lambs going to slaughter you cant stand up and say what you feel with fear of hurting someones feelings or God forbide offending thier civil rights and getting your ass sued . The goverment has way to much power and no one is doing a damn thing about it. For example try moving your 401K money to a safe location you cant the goverment put a freeze on private 401Ks to stop the fall in the market what the fuck. Since when does the goverment have the right to make me loose my retirement account but the rich mother fuckers in washington got to get all of thier money out and even voted to give away $700,000,000,000.00 to hold the market for one week so the rich could bail and save as much of thier money as they could but the working class dicks like our selves cant move one fuckin dollar. Didn't our forfathers through the fuckin British out of this Country for taxing and not representing the people. When was the last time a elected official called and asked what you thought about an issue. I am 40 years old and I have never even had one phone call. Sorry people I am really getting sick of being screwed and not even getting a kiss.

I'm right there with you, Jimmy. Between the abysmal choices we're facing for this election and the bleak outlook for the economy, I feel like we're all on an airplane whose engines have cut out. We all know we're going to crash, the only question now is whether we make a belly landing in a nice soft field or smash headlong into the side of a mountain.

Mark,,
That is exactly what I was talking about. Jimmy is very eloquint in his speech also. With all of the problems that we are facing right now, we should be coming together to stand. I feel that right now we are divived. United we stand devided we fall! Growing up I was a hardline republican. This year I feel that there needs to be more accountablity for the fucked mess. It needs to go both ways dems and republicans. Hang them all and start over. to make matters worse our great leaders have put a claus in the bail out plan the limits the FBI's ability at what they can investigate with regards to CEO and governmental buyout interests. That way the friggin bastards won't get into troulbe for having specail interest in the friggin sub-prime scandal.

Ya know what kills me about the banks? If someone who is self employed, say my dad, fucks up and loses money, his secretary still gets a paycheck, but my parents have trouble paying their mortgage. Do you think any of these CEOs skipped a paycheck?!? I doubt it...

As for the muslim thing, I saw the first few paragraphs of an article in the NY Times (when I was waiting for the wife to wizz at Starbucks in Newport this weekend) about the guy who STARTED the rumor that Obama was a muslim. Pretty interesting how stuff spreads when people hear what they want to hear!

Also interesting, if you go by the logic in that speach, then not a single christian or jew could serve in the military. That whole "thou shalt not kill" thing..... So it's flawed logic, as well as being out of context, and apparently incorrect too!

The other thing that bugs me about this election is the polarization like you guys have pointed out. Seems like everyone WANTS to label people as either Dem or Rep. No in between, no moderates, no. They look at your views, boil you down to one word, then make all kinds of assumptions about you based on that one word. Pisses me right off!!
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

Man Mike you are always right. I went on the last ride today, was able to do a ton but had to throttle back as i caught the trooper. I promise to be good after this friggin election but if my insurance increase anymore I'm going to friggin explode. I am surrendering my republican tag. I'm adopting conservitive "moderate" aka independent that like guns and motorcycles.

Yeah, I know Brett, I've been cranky the past couple of days due to the impending bike storage. I'm keeping her out until November, got 39mm Carbs coming and a rear fender elimination kit coming as well, want to get those on and ride a little, then away.

I'm a Libertarian, have been for awhile. Our motto, leave us alone... Pretty much a party that want to severly limit the size of the government and its sphere of influence. No income tax and very few social programs.
