Have questions about the event or the area? Want to plan a ride in with others who are coming? Here's the place for it.

LMAO, Steve, hard to believe but ironically I was reading this post while eating a large chunk of dark chocolate fudge I got the other day. The wife and I did a day trip to Block Island and though I'm not much for the beach they have a wicked good fudge store there and I'm like a crack whore for that shit. Why don't they just make flavors we can relate to like, Afghani Black or Lebanese blond peanut butter hash. If you knock down a hunk a that shit while having a double expresso you got yourself a damn good legal buzz. Watch out for the crash latter though as you can wake up with a hell of a sunburn.

Ya got me thinking back on the BTB and how much fun that was rain and all. I do believe that was one of the best runs I've yet to be on. Can't wait for next year. Speaking of the BTB I talked to one of the Britjam organizers who mans the microphone during awards and such and he is going to put out the word about the BTB. and this site. We could be seeing quite a few more riders for next year.

Mark, if your reading this, is there anything specific you'd like to have him say?

Ok, so here is the response from one of the main organizers of the Britjam. I've tried to post the flyer here but have not been succesful. If anyone knows how let me know and I'll get it done. It's in pdf format and is opened up with Adobe reader.

Hi Todd

Shaun here - nice to chat with you the other day - I've attached the event flyer for your review !
I'll keep the Bennington Triumph Bash on our radar screen and early next year get it on our club
calendar! Look forward to linking up at BritJam!

Is the larger group planning to meet up at the Vanilla Bean for 10 AM? Is that the time?

Well, Vicki and I are going to be meeting up at the Vanilla Bean. 'Course we will be on our new Yamaha FZ1 since that's our new 2-up bike. I suppose I could put a Triumph sticker on the tank. :)

Hey Bruce
I'm looking forward to seeing you and Vicky again.

Paula that would be great I would love the see Brian /my partner in crime again.
Make sure you tell him that.

I think if we are sitting down ready for breakfast at Bliss Bro's by 8:00 am.
We should be back on the road by 8:30 ish
It shouldn't take us more then an hour and a half to get to the Vanilla Bean.

I will take a look at some routes we could take, unless you already have one in mind.

Bill/Paula-

There may be two more people who want to come along with us. They are from the Boston area. I was thinking that it would work better if they met up with "Our Goddess" for the ride down to breakfast. Would you mind the company Paula?

Nothing specific, really. Would definitely be good to just generally get the word out about the 09 Bash.

Hey Bill!
I'll mention to Brian about the "partner in crime." Now that I think about it, he did say something in our PM about someone being left on the side of the road to get a ticket while you vamoosed? Do I have that right, I can't recall the PM right now- LOL.

However we get to the Vanilla Bean is fine by me. I'll look at a couple of routes too.

Hey Marty!
I'll be getting gas at the Mobil station at the intersection of Rtes 123 and 106 in Easton at 7:30 AM on Sunday, so if folks want to meet me there for a 7:30 take off to Bliss, cool. What are their names?
The only thing is that if it's raining or they're forcasting a rainy day, I won't be going, so they may want to Google directions to Bliss as a back-up. Or if you want to give me a cell # for one of your friends so we can work out the details, that's cool.

Looking forward to this ride!
Paula

You bet Mark, I'll be making sure the BTB gets some air time, as well as, working to put it on the CTBritiron site. I'm betting double the riders for 09.

The weather is looking to be fantastic for Sunday, sunny and in the 80's
