MOTO GP at Indy

Postby rndtaylor » Sat Jul 19, 2008 11:03 pm

Anyone planning to go to Indy?

My brother and a group of his friends from middle tennessee are planning to go, and I will be with them. Some cages, but mostly bikes. An eclectic bunch with a couple of Rockets, sportsters, moto guzzis, kawasaki, and the like.

Will I see any of my friends from here, there?

Randy the closest one to there is Speed but dunno if he is up for a meet and greet with the crash putting him out of comish. Ohio TT is also out that way.

I was talking last night with one of the regulars from the local bike night, and he was saying the friend he was going to ride to Indy with dropped out, so he has an extra ticket. I'm going to look into the financial situation and may end up going with him.

If so, we'll leave the Sunday before and ride to Indy by way of Deal's Gap.

Hey mark, Deal,s gap is a little out of the way to Indy, but it should be a great trip.

If you get the chance to go, we may find a way to meet up.

For those Interested: There is a Triumph Dealer close-by.
Indy Victory & Polaris Motorsports
Indy Triumph
Gene Tomey ( General Manager)
2416 West 16th * 317 803 2432
* From the Triumph Dealership a little further west on 16th will damn near "T" you right to the Speedway.
I'm approx. 128 mi. north of Indianapolis. Very close to Interstate 69 (Which takes you straight there.)
Mark.... and you Bros. have any problems get a hold of me.

Yeah, Deal's Gap is very out of the way, but I think Mike figured that as long as he has to go southwest he may as well swing by Deal's Gap. I can't really fault him on that plan.

I'll let you know if I end up going along. If so, we'll definitely need to meet up there.

I have a free airline ticket but I'm still on the fence. It will still cost some $$$. Is the MotoGP site the best(or only) place to buy tivkets? What's the best seating section?
