Mrs. Hedge said if she doesnt have to work she will saddle up with us for Sunday! I haven't heard from UncleCharlie but I would imagine the starting point will be at Mama Charlie's House as usual. I'll have to ring him tonight or maybe the Lurker will chime in!

OK - since you were the first one to bring it up, Charlie and my wife both said if there is a chance it is going to rain during our 200 mile R/T they are out right from the get-go. So that known, we will check the weather on Sunday morning and decide after breakfast.

That is a good question , I was wondering the same thing a couple of days ago.

I plan on being on the road towards CT by noon if it's not raining.
If they are just saying there is a chance of rain then I still plan on going.
But, if rain is definitely in the forecast with no question, then I will probably bale out.
I am looking forward to a good ride. I really hope the weather will corporate.

The CT forecasts have been so far askew lately, that a call for rain would probably mean sun.

Yesterday we were guaranteed torrential downpours. No rain fell. That's about the 8th time thats happened this month

OK this is in no way any means to steel Bruce's cookout.. But, If no one can get a hold of Bruce in some weird circumstance, I can have a Cook out at my house last minute.( that is only of course if bruces Cookout does not happen. I know you all are going to be looking at thie forum today cause you all want to go to his cook out. Please give some feedback... Ohh and I live in Cromwell ct Right in the Middle of the state if you need to know..

Besides that, yes the weatherman has been a lying cheat.. Telling me its gonna rain and then beach weather.. I hope its at least not raining tommorow.. Im looking forward to heading out to East CT for a cook Out..

The weather is ass-fucking us! It is turning out like the usual, like right now, it is 10:10am and I'm in Greenwich and there isn't a cloud in the sky and beautiful riding weather. However, they are calling for dramatic thunderstorms, like Bucky said. I bet if i don't ride today or tomorrow the weather will be perfect, but the second i take her out and get 50+ miles from home the gates of hell will be released from the sky!

Lets stay tight to this thread and re-convene around 10am tomorrow morning for a final decision!

I sure wish I made the kind of money those Meteorologists make , on their job they make good coin and never have to be right. Best bet - Stick head out window & look for self ! I'll be thinking of all you guys and all that tasty grillin.' Speed.

I got a better one for you Steve - my wife who works for one of the largest Commodities Trading companies in the world have a weatherman on the payroll that just predicts weather patterns so that they can better judge the bets they will make on Commodities. So I ask her, where does this weatherman work out of? She says he moves around a bit and usually works out of hotels in different parts of the USA and other areas of the world. So me thinks to myself . . . .hummmmm!
I thought about this and finally said to my wife that this guy is a Sham! She says What? I said he is a full of shit Sham! She goes why? I said I could do that fucking job! She said what would qualify you? I said easy, get a hotel room anywhere in the world, turn on the AC, order some fucking room service and watch the weather channel for an hour or so everyday and report back to the Central office! She looked at me and didn't say anything for about 5 seconds and then said, No he knows a lot of shit about weather! I said, whatever!
