I may try to make it up there. I'll see if I can drag Hedge and his gimpy shoulder along
I'm just here for the free beer

Tell me more, is this a riding group cookout or this a family cookout you are having?
Lebanon looks like about a 2 hour ride or so for me and it looks like it could be a nice ride.
I'm thinking I would like to see some familiar faces I met at the BTB.
Maybe I could round up Triumphgodess , Wisperinsmith, Marty and I
for the ride?

Bill

Did someone say FOOD?

Marty, (with the rumbling belly)

OK fellas - I test drove my shoulder tonight. I rode my Bonneville from Stamford back to Greenwich where I work (about 5 miles) to pick up some sushi I forgot and left in the fridge. I figured it was rush hour so If I got stuck I could lane split there and back.

I haven't even started the bike since I got home from the BTB. I went down to the garage and flipped the petcock, pulled the choke, turned the key, and hit the button and she fired right up! I put on the bucket and hopped on and off I went. I got all the way to Greenwich and as i came down the ramp at exit 3 I remembered that I forgot my fob to get back in the office. I got back on the highway and drove back to Stamford, pulled into the garage, grabbed the fob out of my car and went back to Greenwich picked up the Sushi and came back to Stamford where I filled her up with gas and put her away.

Long story short, my shoulder is ride-able! I'm gonna do another test tomorrow. I'm going up to the Nuke Sub Base in Groton to take part in the christening of the USS New Hampshire tomorrow at 11am. I have decided to take the bike.
Here's a link to some info on the sub. Its the 5th Virginia Class sub.

If I can make it there and back tomorrow I see no further reason why I can't make it to Bruce & Vicky's party! So - I'm in unless my shoulder tells me differently! :D

Cool man, that's good news I'm glad to hear your shoulder is good for riding.
I plan on coming up from s/e mass. It sounds like Marty will go.
I don't know when John/Wisperinsmith is due to make it back from his cross country trip
or if he is up to more riding? but , I will see.
I will email Paula/ Triumphgodess and see if she wants to go.
Hope to see every one there.

Bill - hope to see you and anyone you can muster up for next Sunday. I think this BBQ could be a very good place for us to Noodle out future get-together like Carlise and Brit-Jam. I'm not completely in the circuit loop but that is where Seth can step in because he seems to know of all the happenings that are going to be put on this summer, so I'm interested in hearing what he has to say.

Bruce - just a heads up. UncleCharlie doesn't do the night driving things so I just wanted to tell you that we will be coming early and leaving early. I hope that's OK with you and Vicky.

Rain!

Refreshing! I rode in it yesterday for two hours. It is just water. You can eat in the house or in the garage I am sure!!!
