Pretty sure my mom knows Terry, the guy who runs the museum, so let me know I can track down his info.

I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

It's cool Bro...Nothing like that , however I do see some interaction in the works. I maybe way out of line and some may object but heres a thought...Early in the year before the projected BTB date occurs of course I could shell out $50.00 to the Bash. Call it a gate fee , Membership fee , Donation, Per bike fee .....Whatever, Put it into a cash reserve for the BTB.... It's only a thought .....X amount of people = Cash Reserves Then you'll have something to fall back on as well and build on for the Bash. You'll definitely know who is committed and who is just blowing smoke rings up our asses , For sure. Just a thought / toss it around.;)

Steve, that's a good idea. Maybe we'll set up a pre-donation Paypal account or something for the 2009 BTB.

Ok, so who has good accounting skills and would be willing to get the ball rolling on said idea? Steve, I don't know if we were talking about it or not but I think it's a good idea and I did talk to a few people at the Bash who said they would be very willing to throw $$ into a fund in order to set places off exclusively for us or be used to get whatever is needed for BTB 2009.

There is also the question of whether we have a cookout style gathering or just ride to some BBQ. Either way is fine by me but I did want to check out some of Hedges soon to be world famous ribs I keep seeing pictures of.

Dude ! Did you see Hedges Last Superbowl Layout Menu , Oh Man , Every time I go past that on this forum my stomach starts to growl , which included his world famous ribs , He takes great care in preparing those bad boys , In which he turned me on to his secret but I'll never tell , it's his deal , if I ever had the chance... I'm with you Touko ...I'd jump at that in a heartbeat. They look very tasty. Good God I'm getting hungry.

Ok, I think we should lean in the direction (like the kind of lean that scrapes off nubbies) of our own BBQ! We do have some time to put it together but how much fun would that be?!!!! Also, I still like the idea of having it at a campground considering all the amenities are right there. Oh, and how many beers does it take to get the secret recipe out of Hedge? I'm going to bring Molson triple xxx. Touko
