they're obviously having too much fun...the rest of who couldn't/didn't are just cast off yesterday's news...they don't love us...they never loved us...it was all a ploy to get us there so they could look at our butt...oh yes, we may get a dribbled out tidbit when it suits them...a photo of scantily dressed drunk hormone obsessed opportunity captured image of folks who just don't love us having the time of their lives...belly laughs and oily chain goo on wheels.

...but they aren't going to share until they're sober...rested...and when it damn well suits them...it could be days...or even weeks...but I feel certain some of those folks will come back on and say

"nanner nanner nanner
...we win...you lost
...we're hot...you're not...
Oh that's right, you couldn't make it,
here's blown up poster sized shots of the naked nuns oiling up a pizza delivery boy
...and we took turns delivering the pizza
...til at least 4:30"

...and "check out the size of this fucker"

...but we'll just have to sit patiently and do chores...take the garbage out...wipe the shit off the dog's ass...

until they're damn good and ready...they just don't love us.

Okay I'll start by posting this cruel response from my phone: Bonnielass brought her white chaps. :) Crap, my camera battery is dead! Maybe Bluejay brought his...

I have a few photos on my cell phone I can extract. Gimme a few minutes.

The ride on Friday from Curtis' back around to Bennington was great. Sunny, warm, nobody dropped a bike. 30-40 bikes? I didn't count.

At the meet-n-greet back in Bennington, the clouds moved in and the rain was on the way. Since I wasn't staying the night (I'm from Nashua NH - 2 hours east) I bolted out of there around 6pm so I didn't stay for the pizza or the white chaps. :-(

There is rain and T-storms in the VT/NH area today so I'm at home actually changing the oil on my T100.

Here's the few I have. The first three are at Curtis' BBQ with a subset of the folks.

And here are all the bikes at the meet-n-greet. All of us where up on some stairs getting a group photo. There are a few HD's in the fleet of bikes and nice red Moto Guzzi Norge right in front.

Sorry for not taking more (or bring my better P&S camera...) I'm sure better ones are coming!

Probably should start a thread but I'll throw this on here. Just want to thank all the organizers and folks who kept this gathering alive from that first "thought". I won't try to list names, you know who you are. Met a lot of great people and saw a lot of great bikes. I had to leave for home saturday afternoon and wasn't able to get to Madison's to say goodbye properly. Hope everyone has a safe ride home.

Guy, if you read this, I wish you and Whisper a safe and enjoyable trip back to the west coast! You met a lot of people so you may not remember me but we spoke for a while in a corner of the pizza room at Robin's. Kevin's girlfriend Alise(sp) was there also and Tito joined us for a few minutes. Anyway, enjoyed meeting you, good luck and ride safe. Ed.

Ed, I do remember! That was a fun night and a very large mountain of pizza boxes. I'm glad you made it home safely, and I'll check in with folks from the back roads of America (Whisper decided to leave a day early, so I'll be doing the return leg solo as well).

Here are a Few More

Postby marde » Sun Jun 01, 2008 8:23 pm

I tried to remember all the names, might have gotten a few right. But most importantly, you know who you are, you're the people who went and made this a great experience. My sincere thanks to the organizers. You people did a fabulous job.

Great pics, Marty! Thanks for taking so many -- I kept meaning to take pictures, but kept not getting around to it. I've only got a few, which I'll have to pull off the camera soon.

Edit: Jimmy, great pics too. You and I posted at the same time so I didn't see them till my post went up.

Before we get started, I just want to say that like Marty, I forgot a lot of names but I shook a lot of hands and hugged the shit out of a lot of people! "HUG IT OUT BITCH!" If I fucked up on your name please forgive me, If I forgot to enter your name please do it for me. If anyone knows how to make this album public so people can enter in their info I would appreciate you dropping that info on me! Thanks again to all the instrumental people who organized this, you know who you are, and all the people who hard cored it up to Bennington to be part of the experience! I fucking love you guys!

Hedge, What a great time, I'm glad to be a ton-up pirate and in the Hedge club at the same time. I justwish I would have had a better camera with me. Mine died on Saturday. I had it in my tank bag and the power switch/shutter cover was open keeping the camera on. Even got some interior pics of my tank bag.

Hank & Brett - it was great meeting both of you and hanging with you. Mike is 2 Thumbs up also even though he is a Pats/Red Sox fan! :-) We will somehow get together again this summer for something! We just need to figure out what.
