Well it sems as though Vermont weather is the same as Delawares if you dont like it wait 15 minutes and it will be different. The word I got is a front is going to swing through late friday night into Sat Am with a chance of thunder storms Friday evening and tappering off to nothing by 9 am most of the rain is midnight on with a slight chance of showers about three in the afternoon no more the a tenth of a inch . Shit thats better then expected the 80% is the rain to come on after midnight up to a 1/4 of an inch over night straight from the US Air Force they aren't changing flight patterns for the weekend and I ain't changing my ride plans its time to Light some fires and kick some tires.

I will ride the 330 miles with or without the rain. I can always dry off later.

Thanks for the update, Jimmy. I'm more inclined to trust the Air Force than weather.com!

I have soso rain gear that I washed with nikwax wash in treatment. It will waterproof the inside and outside layers, I also included my liner in the wash. I love the metzler ME Z6 road tec tires.

I would not miss this event, mostly because Jimmy is bringing beer! I hope the air force is better at weather predictions. I can't help but think that they are still the government.

well I'm already here, so I guess I'm coming :D I brought gear and a bike cover even! Look at me go. I figure saturdays rides can be adjusted and abreviated, or we can just hang out! Whatever. I won't ride up Equinox in a storm, dangerous and no point if you can't see anything from the top, but we can find good lunch and hit the Wilson house if anyone wants to...
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...
