BlueJ -- weather today and tomorrow is fantastic. It's not supposed to start raining till Friday night.

Also, as I dig deeper into the forecasts, it's looking like the rain on Saturday will not be heavy, and will not be constant. The forecast is for less than a tenth of an inch of rain. Basically, it'll probably drizzle for a while in the middle of the day, but the sun will probably poke through at times as well.

Forecast for Sunday is only 30% chance of rain.

Looks like you won't have to deal with much wetness coming and going, so please don't let it stop you.

We're scrambling fast down here to get packed and out the door. Not sure if we can make it all the way today (this ride is more than twice as far as we've done in a day before), but we'll try. Spent WAY too much time excited about this to blow it off now.

This is all Speed's Fault . . . he mentioned the Rain Word a few weeks ago! But nevertheless, in his defense, he is currently already there with his wife Donna and chance od rain didn't sop him.

Blue Jay if my wife was able to do 400 miles on the bike I would be on my way now. I understand I wouldn't want to get caught 400 miles in the rain . I left NC and it rained all but the last 7 miles and it sucked. I am consulting with the Miltary Air Command on the weather I will have a better picture as to what if any is going to happen.

Glad to hear it -- but don't stress too much or push it too far today. Weather tomorrow is supposed to be fantastic too. Sunny, low 70s.

If you make it to Bennington by 11:30am, meet up with us at Robin's cafe for the ride over to Curtis BBQ for lunch.

Hedgie- From where we are, it's as far to CT as to VT. We'll aim for Wilkes-Barre for sure - Lauren has family there. Past that if light and ass cheeks hold out.

Been working hard around the house to catch up on some things before tomorrow but am starting to finally pack up for fri. morn.

About the weather. Is it going to rain on Sat? Looks like it might but who cares; should be a break in it somewhere to get in some riding in and this is New England where forecasts are only good for a few hours. Jimmy's got that covered so lets get there and enjoy the beautiful Green Mountain State!!!
