I just watched "The Bucket List" last night. My favorite line was -
Edward Cole: Here's something to remember when you're older Thomas - never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart.
I just laughed my ass of!
Remember folks - "Getting Old is NOT for Sissy's!"

I propose we meet in Red River, New Mexico on either 5-8 June or 12-15 June. There's a big rally there every memorial day, and we can't go earlier than that because of the risk of freezing our fun bits off.

Red River is a charming victorian mining town north of Taos. It's in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, with New Mexico's highest peak (Wheeler Peak, 13,167 feet) almost within sight of the town. The roads in the area are fantastic, good enough to sustain a rally for 26 years running. Here are some links for the town and the other rally (that link is NSFW):

We could also base ourselves in Taos, which is a bigger town (there are advantages and disadvantages to that) and slightly more centrally located.

I won't call these initial thoughts, because I've been advocating hodling the second event in NM for a while now, but if this sounds good to everyone, I'll look into those dates a little more carefully and see which is better.

Thoughts?
