I sense increased giddyness

Have questions about the event or the area? Want to plan a ride in with others who are coming? Here's the place for it.

Gotcha!

I was just getting ready to reply to you with (YOUR KIDDING ME RIGHT! ! ! !)
Then I saw the Gotcha!! at the end.
Oh your funny.

8:15/8:30 Friday morning is going to be SOOOOOoooooo soooooo long a time to wait.
I'm ready to roll, I changed the oil again and cleaned , adjusted and lubed the chain.
All I have to do is pack and go.

I don't know about making it up there on time for the ride to get BBQ.
I'm thinking it is going to take us at least 4 1/2 hours to get up there.
I don't know??? what do you think? They are talking not getting back till 4:30
We will still have to check in at the Paradise , unpack and get to the parking lot for the meet and greet.

Bill,

I'm up for either plan. I understand your thought on having some time to get settled and then get to the parking lot to see riders coming in.

I'm sure as we ride up we'll have a better idea of the timing. You and Marty can duke it out. I'll just ride.

I will see Marty Thursday night.
He will be coming by my house so I can balance his carbs.

We can play it by ear like you said.
But I am concerned about having time to check in and unpack.
To be at the parking lot by 5;00 pm.

cold (and wet?) feet???

Postby BlueJ » Wed May 28, 2008 2:45 pm

Bonnielass and I are not looking happily at that 60% precip chance on Saturday - helluva a long ride to sit and watch it rain. Can some of you locals get cracking on your (no) rain dances???

Na, that's just a slight chance of a light passing sprinkle.

It told me 6 and a half but I have enough fuel in the truck to cover the 361 miles so barring to many piss stops for the wife I will be there early afternoon I have a problem with speed limits only slow down in NJ . Almost packed I only have 7 horses to do tomorrow and load the bike and coolers ha I found alot of space around my bike for beer LOL.
