Non-triumph motorcycle owners coming?????

Have questions about the event or the area? Want to plan a ride in with others who are coming? Here's the place for it.

Hedge wouldn't do any good I would just come along and rewire it to go off when the sun comes up with a photoprotoclay with a wristwatch as a failsafe talking about a wake up call LOL.

Robin , It's all good. Jimmy is a very upfront person. ( Honest) I guess that's why I get a long with him so well. He reminds me of My Pop, He was just like that. He said what was on his mind. Very Black and White with hardly no gray , if any. I'd bank on it. Of course I've gotten to know him and without taking his inventory( No offense Jimmy) which I think I kind of already did, find him to be a very giving (caring) person , the kind that you'd want in your corner. He's a good Bro. and I'm glad to have him as a friend and would trust him no matter what. Speed. P.S. Of course , just like my Pop ,I wouldn't want to be on his bad side. LOL.

Tailgating is good by me Jimmy! You can expect UncleCharlie and myself to be swinging by if this overflows into the streets.

Robin your okay in my book. I am not a bad person but have been one so I see both sides of the coin. I prepare for the worse and deal with the outcome its what makes me who I am . I read people like a book and am very seldom wrong maybe twice in my years. I was taught to watch pay attention to details and react when called for some of you here understand the training it is what keeps you alive at the end of the day. I cant wait to meet you peeps and have a few laughs and refreshments and hope to make some more lasting friendships even if they are on the web. I just have a need for real people in my life fakes need not apply my saying be real or be real fast leaving. I might not get to much time on the puter this week trying to get wrapped up but will see most of you Friday and the rest Sat.

Unfortunately, Hank, I can't make any guarantees. I have no control over who shows up. We're not renting out Madison's for the evening, or charging admission, or anything -- we're just all eating dinner there and then enjoying some music. I'm sure Mel Madison isn't going to turn away other paying customers if they arrive on Harleys.

But that said, we've also got the Friday night party which is in a private residence and is for BTB guests only.

Also, why assume that if Harley folks do show up on Saturday night, they'll cause trouble? The vast majority of people just want to be social and have a good time with their friends. Isn't that why we're having this event in the first place?

PS: On Friday night we'll get a good idea of the number of BTB attendees. We can let Mel know to reserve tables for that number, just in case anyone's concerned about other folks coming in and filling the place up.

Sounds great Mark thanks! I think that will help people feel better.

Personally I've had experiences in both directions. And mob mentality makes people do things they wouldn't otherwise. I once waited for a gas pump for longer than it took for a fullsize fan to fill up cause a hell's angel decided he needed to go talk to his buddy for 10 minutes rather than moving his bike 6 feet so I could fill up. Some people just feel the need to prove they are bigger than you even tho nobody asked them to.

Chill out Hank!

[quote="hankspeed3"]Thanks Jim, practicality is always a sign of good taste.

Tito is local and he can put on a show for us at the expense of his bike and his liscence. Thats why we won't have to hire the Veritical Outlaws. I aint beating my bike for you guys or anyone else for that matter. And, He's local in that if he recks it, its his problem. And he can answer to locals. And, then if they don't invite us back, then we know who to blame.

Hank!

Do you need a HUG?

WTF?

I behave in town! And when I feel like pulling a Wheelie I will, last I recall I don't need anyones permission for that.

Go get a SALAD and relax!

Settle down easy we will be riding and eating and drinking beer soon. Anyone interested in some Delaware brewed beer I will be glad to bring a case or two or three with me. The local Micro Brew Is Called the Dogfish Head Brewery. I like the Summer Ale but will be glad to bring a mixture if anyone is interested.

Thanks Mark for the clarification.

Tito,
I really should think about a salad. I'm so fat my riding pants don't fit anymore. holy shit. No, the keep it cool comment is to remind everyone that this is a first year event. We want to do as much as we can to get the word around to all about the ..." the locals will be watching us" issue. Thats all. Just a reminder to be as cordial as you can. Or, if you don't want to be, thats your choice, please don't ruin it for the rest. So we can establish a good relationship with all the locals and the business owners. No where in my sentences did I say anyone has to ask permission of anyone. Nor did I tell anyone to &*%$ -off.
Well done is always better than well said.
