Looking for the other thread that was about Friday...

Where and what time are we meeting up to ride? I'm getting 11 AM, but forgot the where.

(I feel wierd about posting my cell # on a website....I'll make sure a few folks have mine and I get theirs.)

I was really thinking of a long ride. I've been looking at maybe out to Adirondack State park and route 30. Maybe something between 200 and 300 miles. Leave a lot earlier maybe 7 or 8 A.M.

I understand that some aredoing this shorter later ride. I was wondering if anyone was interested in something longer. Don't get out to this area often and did not want to waste half a day hanging out. I'm an early riser so 11:30 is like half a day.

Both Mark and I are riding over 75 miles from up North just to get to Bennington, then riding another 120 miles after. WE want to be back in Bennington before 5:00pm to greet and meet everyone.

On Saturday we are taking longer rides, my VT GAP ride is over 275 miles and Mark's Adirondack ride is about 225 miles.

I understand your point I usually ride sunrise to sunset and 600 mile days or more are very common for me. Hope you can join us on both days! :-)

Guys, where is a good place to park for the cafe? I'm definitely coming, but I imagine the street might be a bit crowded at noon...

Dropped off my gear in Bennington this morning.

I will be meeting Mark Friday morning at my house and we plan on arriving into Bennington by 10:30am or earlier. We will be stopping for breakfast at the Castleton Diner on the way there.

See you all for the Friday lunch BBQ ride!

Depends which route we take, but that sounds about right. Only a 20-25 min ride on the slab, 35 via old 7, 40 the back way (gotta slow down for the covered bridges). I doubt I'll be any later than 9:30 to the bagel place, so depends how much BSing we do.

I would like to join you guys for the BBQ ride on Friday AM. I have some friends coming from NH that are going to stop for the BBQ on their way. Maybe we will meet them there at the same time.

I'll see you guys at 10:30 at the cafe, if I read the post correctly....
