May I suggest Saigon [ Ho Chi Minh City]? It is lovely there in late spring.

I thought it was a given! Hey, it hasn't been easy finding Triumph riders and I'm not about to let you people go anytime soon. As for where? Well, after this year it's likely to be twice the size next year and though it didn't start out with any thought to making money perhaps in the future it could turn out to be profitable in one way or another. Hopefully for the people who have put this thing together. Aka, Mark, Bonniegirl, Lovel and all others who have dedicated time, money and effort. While I'm at it I'd like to thank the above (before I get to gassed and forget ) for putting this on and giving me something fun to look forward to these many months. Thank you, Todd

I lived near there for a while back in 67-68, and it was lovely but some of the natives weren't very friendly. Maybe it's changed!

I've been there and ridden a motorcycle from Saigon to the Mekong Delta and back - with the wife on the back. If she comes to the BTB ask her about that story, she really enjoys telling it!

Of couse, I was just kidding about Saigon; there is still too much unexploded ordinance laying around.

Bur seriously, TonUp is right - it is not easy to get a shitload of Triumph enthusiats rounded up. I would attend regardless of the location. Coming from NJ, it is going to be a pleasure to explore a state I've never been to; however, the VT locals may wish an alternate site. How about throwing a dart at an east coast map while blindfolded, and pray like hell it does not hit on Newark, NJ?

Oh, and I'd like to hear about motorcycling in beautiful Vietnam!

You know of course, I was kidding about waiting to see if we're thrown out of town before we explore plans for next year. I for one would love for this to grow into an annual event if everyone else feels the same. And from the enthusiasm shown by this group, I'd say that's a given.

I have a feeling once this event is over, the great feeling and comraderie that is felt will be spread among other Triumph riders who will clamor to get here next year.

For those who haven't yet visited Vermont or Bennington, it will sink into your soul in a way you never suspected. We are about to have one hell of a time! Be good to the citizens of Bennington so we are welcomed back and let's enjoy every moment.

And as always, ride safe.

With the group of people that have shown interest in this ride I think the town will welcome the extra income provided by Triumph riders similar to that of Daytona or Sturgis for the HD crowd with out all the law breaking (been to both ) . I am looking forward to having fun hanging out and most of all acting like an adult . I may come off as a rough person but do clean up nicely when in the company of friends. Its getting close and the high light of my work week I have 4 more days of slaving under horses and it is on riding chatting BBQin and just relaxing . I turn 40 on the 4th and I haven't been this excited about much but I am finding myself getting real giddy about this ride.
