The others that have already chimed in are right -- dino oil is plain old oil pumped out of the ground, made of decomposed dinosaurs.

I'm at almost 1500 miles now on the Strom, due pretty soon for the next oil change. I'll probably do it the weekend before I ride down to DC and stick with regular oil for the time being, then switch to synthetic around 3000-4000 miles. I'll definitely go with fresh synthetic for the Canada trip.

SPEED TRIPLE

Postby TonUp » Tue May 06, 2008 6:34 am

I took the SPEED TRIPLE out of storage on Sunday afternoon. Rode it to to the gas station and fueled up, headed south made a quick 143mph blast and two very sweet 2nd gear STAND UP WHEELIES not very long just over 1/4 mile, but it felt right.

I rode it to work yesterday, it was 37F in the morning a little too cold for that bike to be ridden proper. It was over 60F on the way home, playtime. What a fun bike that is to ride!

She is ready for the BASH! I might even wash it! LOL :-)

Hope to see you all very very soon!

Tito

I actually have my bike out now. I took my maiden ride last Sunday with UncleCharlie. WE did a quick 60 miles. I rode her to work yesterday and today. I take the highway to work which takes me about 15 min and I take the back Country roads from Greenwich up into NY state and then cross back into CT and back down through the back door of Stamford. I forgot how good I feel when I get home after a full day of work and an hour to an hour and a half ride home before dinner! :D
