Are these rides going to stay posted after the bash?
I'm seeing some extra VT riding trips for me this summer....

Paula,
Just click on each one and print them out one at a time for future reference. They all look like great rides.

If you run into trouble, I've got them and can scan them and send you a copy.

I checked today and Smugglers' Notch is still being used by die hard snowboarders. Another inch of fresh snow overnight. 24 degrees on my ride to work this morning.

We have till the end of the month for things to melt, right?

boon,
I don't think anyones going as far up as smuggs for the bash are they? I mean I don't think any of the rides go up that far ...do they? your more than welcome to do so, but I heard not until mid to late may do they open the smuggs notch road.
Well done is always better than well said.

Hank, no ride up here planned...yet. But it's such a draw for riders that if it opened in time that could change.

Or as the bash ends if folks wanted to go home via the notch (sort of like me going out for a loaf of bread and coming back 200 miles later without the bread). Not looking good for the home team at this point.

I wouldn't worry -- that snow will melt fast once temps rise.

When I went to check out that abandoned radar site last year, first weekend in May, my buddy and I couldn't get to the top because there was far too much snow still remaining. We went back on Memorial Day, and there was no longer any trace of snow.
