A little bumpity bump on this, also to add that it looks like part of the day will be a ride to East Dorset to Bill W's house. Sort of a two destination ride, not as many miles as some, but should be fun. Maybe we can find a good lunch spot too. There's a general store by Bill W's we can get soft serve icecream at!

Those of you thinking about joining me on this ride...

Right now I have it around 100 miles. Pretty much all back roads, so it's probably 3 hours of riding, plus the two stops in Dorset and at the top of the mountain. Plus I need to figure out lunch... So it may not be a fuuuuulll day, but most of the day depending on how long we take at the stops. Is that a good length? I could make it longer/more riding, we would just have to be concious of our time at the house and mountain. Whacha think?

Benny
3 hours of riding and I few stops along the way sounds like a pretty good day.
If it gets much longer you start to get too tired.
I am looking forward to doing some riding ,there is some real beautiful riding up there.
But, I am more looking forward to meeting every one and shooting the shit.
Either way I am sure it will be a great time.

Jimmy, for sure I'm doing this ride! Bill W.'s and a ride by a monastary atop a mountain, I'll be stuffing all the extra serenity in my saddlebags for those stressful days back home. :)

Tito and Mark's rides look cool too, I'll come up another time and run those. I may do the self guided ride that's posted on Friday. I think I read something about BBQ.....

I drove some of it today with my friend Jeremy. We also took the back road from Sandgate to West Rupert. Nice n muddy :D Some guy in an F150 looked at us kinda funny when we went by in a Subaru... Studded snows work pretty well on muddy roads!

I think this is going to be a nice ride, I think we'll have lunch at the Double Hex. Good burgers. Or there's a diner up the road from there too.

I love it when people plan rides that involve food....

BBQ and the Southern Ride on Friday-- I'm in with Tito, Mark, Robin, Paul and others to be named.

Benny, what culinary wonders, besides burgers, can I look forward to at the Double Hex? ;)

I think Kim had a salad thing... It's Vermont, they got all the basic food groups. Burgers. Salads. Grilled cheese...

Nope :( Do you still have it? Can you re-send?

Paula, not sure about the flavors, but I bet they rotate. If Kim can find something to eat, I'm sure you can!
