There is very few moments in my life that the constant chatter of thoughts is cleared. I am in a world that over-stimulates me with information that causes me to never stop thinking. They say that Meditation is the key to clearing the mind - I find that the hardest part of my program. Just sitting there alone and trying to clear my mind of all thoughts and get in touch with my inner being and my higher power is very difficult.
There have only been two times in my life when this has been achieved:
1. Whenever I ride a motorcycle my mind clears of all thoughts except of what I am doing in that exact moment!
2. Whenever I do down hill skiing the same clearing happens and I am in the moment!
Being in the moment is one of the best feelings in the world because nothing else matters - not all the shit from yesterday, not all the fear that tomorrow might bring or might not - but Now, this very moment in life!
