Na a retro bonnie classic with shitty brakes a kickstarter that would break and bias ply tires and oil leaks. Just kidding stop looking at me that way. I would like to see a bonne with dual front brakes inverted forks and a 1150 big bore kit already set up with a 6 speed that would rock. I would be waiting at the door for the very first one in the state.

I think we need a job in the research and development dept at Triumph Tito. If nothing else they would sell the badest bikes on the market. S3s stock with 60 shots of NOS just incase you never no when you will need go fast. My father always told me I needed to be locked in a control enviroment it would be the only way the rest of the populaiton would be safe LOL.

I'd love it if Triumph made a 500cc air/oil-cooled single in a super-lightweight chassis -- say, 250lbs dry, 17" wheels, stripped-down cafe racer styling, quality suspension, torquey engine. It would be the perfect App Gap bike.

I would like to see Triumph make a Supermoto 500cc single liquid cooled (60HP+) and also a smaller Tiger type Dual Purpose bike.

But I also like the Idea of a very very very aggressive single cylinder 500-600cc 225 lbs, 60-70hp, SUPERMOTO. You know how I like to ride. LOL

I think a thumper 500 single in a new tech dirt bike type frame something with some much bottom end you could us it to dug cable trenchs across your yard. But enough riding comfort you could us it on the streets.

Cagiva has a "single" in the works now, I saw it at the NY show last year, it was to use the MITO 125 chassis with a 500 4 stroke single engine.
they are now working with Husqvarna to get the Husky 520 ro 620 engien for it, but that is probably dead now that BMW owns Husky
it was to sell for $5999 but so far the US market is not receptive
we may need to go to Europe to get one if they start making it
I wonder if we would accept a Truimph branded single that uses a KTM or Husqvarna engine?? BMW may beat Triumph to it

Sat and talked to Jeff Hanson the owner of the Triumph Dealership in Dover and he showed me a sneak peek at the NEW TIGER CUB oh shit 09 I will have a new Triumph. They are taking the 675 daytona engine and putting it in a Tiger type platform along with three other new bikes a big cruiser that we all know about the tiger cub and a beginner class of standard. The pics came from the Dealer show in Hinkley England they just got back. Triumph sales will be through roof when they hit the floor the 1700 I think cruiser is fuckin cool but the Cub took the cake. Cell phone pics suck but it looks like a single beginner class hopefully a 500 speed single like the retro styling we love.

I hope they also make an all out enduro type machine similar to the KTM 950 or the BMW GS-1200.


A 675 Cub would be nice and again some big ass off road tires would make it even better.

Jimmy, is the 675 Tiger Cub street-focused like the current Tiger, or more offroad capable like the Tiger 955 was?

I'm really curious about that entry-level standard too -- might be customizable into exactly the sort of sporting single I was talking about.
