There's no practical way we can set a rain date for the Bennington Triumph Bash. We've got people coming from too far away, and people have had reservations made for months.

Rain is always a possibility, just as it is for Sturgis, Laconia, Americade, and every other rally. If it rains, tough. So we get a little wet. No big deal.

The one good thing about the possiblity of rain is that there is always wet t-shrts around!! It is also a bad thing that there are wet t-shirts around!!!

Riding in the rain sucks
All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope for sunshine and blue Sky's with temps in the 70's

Riding in the rain is not my favorite, I agree.

Suggestion for those coming from some distance away: get a detachable windshield for your bike. At least it'll keep most of the rain off you. And if the weather's good, you can just detach it.

I was there 2 weeks ago and the Sun Gods were with me but the Poker Gods were not!
I got bounced at 34 and they were only paying the top 10 finishers with over $13k going to 1st place. My cousin was the Bubble Boy! He bounced at 11 and the only thing that hurts more than that - was realizing that the same CS was responsible for bouncing both of us and we both had him dead to rights, “All IN”, prior to the flop. That MF had the Poker Gods in his pocket that day! We still ate like Kings though afterward up there in the Paragon Restaurant!

Everyone just get there... If it REALLY rains hard, you don't have to go on the day ride but you can still hang out with everyone.

No rain

Postby TonUp » Tue Jan 29, 2008 11:19 pm

I hate getting my hair wet! LOL

Let's not worry too much about rain. This is a RAIN or SHINE event. If It rains we get wet, have fun, dry off and party. If it does not rain we do the same in a dry format of course.
