Google Map for the Bennington Bash

Postby scctrim » Sun Jan 20, 2008 11:50 pm

Since Benny nominated me to create a map...I figured I better get right on it! :)

At this link http://maps.google.com/maps?f=s&mid=1200886707

you will find a map, you will need to create a google account to edit it. I have set permissions for anyone to edit. Just click on the edit link, click the blue placemarker and drag it to your location.

This should be helpful in you guy's hookin up with one another for the ride up the road.

Didn't work on the first try for me either....

First go to google and setup an account...

I think you can do it just by going to google maps and punching in "bennington bash" Then click on the link that comes up. It'll pop up on the map with a link, click on that.

THEN I think you can add yourself to it. Just going by memory here...
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

Now that works...typing in Bennington Bash in the search box.

you'll need a google account if you do not have one...

you should see either a edit...or collaborate button on the left side. If you click the edit button there should be a placemarker at the top of the window tht the map is in...along with 3 or 4 other icons that are active.

Just clik it and move your cursor.

Or...just tell me where the hell ya live :)
