I was a sailor too from 1977-1983, I was stationed in Mayport for 2 years then.

I done my shore duty at Mayport as a MA and stayed in the area. I love it here! I was AD '91-99. I was originally an AME for my first 5 years.

Mayport was a lot of fun, I miss going to Joans Chili Bordello. And ripping down AIA to St. Augustine on the weekends.

I speak ching-ching. it's a universal language. when I pull the upper receiver of a firearm to the rear, load a round into the chamber, and release the slide ... it makes a destinctive 'ching-ching' sound.
