You guys have got to start planing on making it to the Bennington Bash.
There are some guys making it up from Florida for the Bash.

I don't know his first name but his screen name cynr1023 he's a military guy.
He is from Coral springs Florida.
He was talking about taking some auto train half way to VA. and then riding the rest of the way.
There was another guy from Florida talking about making the trip but I can't find him
It was probable a post that got deleted over there on Rat.
It is a long way but it would be very cool to meet you and your Bad ass Bonnie.
I think this is going to turn into some thing Big.

Merci !

I guess taking a train halfway wouldn't be too bad. Is there any sleeping arrangements and what is the elevation.

There are quite a few hotels in the area if you Google Bennington VT you will see.
There are also some people talking about camping.
And those of us that have rooms already reserved I'm sure would let some one crash
in there with there own sleeping bag.
as far as what the elevation is , all I can tell you is it's high you will be up in the mountains.
I go up quite aways with my bonnie and I never noticed any difference in the performance.

Actually, Bennington's elevation isn't very high. Under 1000 feet above sea level. The mountains are further east and west.

As for lodging, click on the Bennington Triumph Bash banner at the top of this page, then go to the Lodging page and you'll find some info there.

Ok, cool...thanks for the info and the replies. Elevation is important because I run HSR's, and they are contrary with elevation and sometimes temperature change. I didn't know if a hotel has been contacted for a possible reduced rate due to the meet. If not, check it out...cheaper is better ; )

Sheldon, not a problem man! IF (BIG) I decide to do this, I figured maybe I can set up some rat bro. stops along the way, stopping in Fredricksburg, VA overnight to visit with my brother, and carrying on to VT the next day.

It's roughly 1100 miles though, my ass will look like that fucking monkey that Hedge is obsessed with..lol

Hell yeah! Welcome to my new home. I should have said fuck it along time ago, but I would get tired of talking to myself working midnights.
