New guy headin to BTB

Postby scottys3 » Thu May 05, 2011 8:54 am

I posted up on TheSpeedTriple forums and TonUp pointed me in this direction.

Lets start off with I have a 2000 roulette green S3. I have wanted one since I was a kid, had posters on my wall, had the Maisto motorcycle toy of one(same color). Some one how I found some one who wanted to trade for my DRZ400sm straight up!! I couldn't resist!

I just moved to albany in the fall. I graduated from plattsburgh state in 09 and got a "real" job here in the capital district. I really just moved down here blindly, I dont really know anyone. so I heard about this event and got very excited, sounds like a blast!

So my question on the speedtriple was should I stay in town or at the campground? At this point I am pretty set on the camp ground. Im pretty poor, Love camping, and boozin around a campfire. So all that solidified my decision hahaha.

Tito told me to get in touch with CTrockers because you guys camp. Just the name got me super excited! I tried (and failed Miserably) to organize a bunch of cafe bikers and rockers to go crash a Capital District scooter and moped club kick off ride this year... Anyways I am really excited to head out to this and meeting everyone!
Heres the bike for reference!

and a pic of me for reference with a prist daily driven Vincent!

next step is a new tent and sleeping bag!

Scott,

Welcome to the Bash!

Sweet S3, love the colour and the stubbies.

You'll do well at the camp ground.

See you there.

Wow, that person was an idiot, which worked out great for you!

Definitely stay at the campground. Lots of us will be up there.

Scotty

Welcome aboard! Seth will take care of you with the camping portion and partying by the fire, they do like their beer and there is a store across the road from the campground.

Don't forget to join us for BBQ in Putney. We leave Bennington around 3pm on Friday. Check out the itinerary.

hahaha. VFRs are sick! It would just be nice to hang with some actual cool bikers. I have never seen so many stretched bikes in my life as I do here. I thought they were only in miami and myrtle beach... noooope albany is infested.

No stretchers here, we actaully ride. Welcome to the Forum & the Bash. Always good to have new faces. Keep a few bucks handy in case you need a cab from in town back to the campsite. Its too far to walk after the party.

You won't be the only VFR outcast. My friend Bryan will be on his '07 red/white/blue machine.
