Hey Mark, I don't have your email address. My unit is a Garmin 2610. Any file that will work in Map Source will work such as a GPX file. My email is mattf301 at yahoo.com.

Of course, with so many bikes all depends on who is in your immediate zone. The previous year I had no issues and had a great time the whole way there and back.

I brought it up because I witnessed actual shit happen that was firmly in the close call territory. But then, I was already crotchety because in the middle of all this someone was rolling in my blind spot for a good part of the ride :poke: . Stay extra sharp, be sensible yo, that's all.

I hear there are good times at the back of the ride, like a mullet. So maybe I'll check that out this year. :lmao:

I will stay at the back. I am secure in my inability to wheelie.

You gonna let Mark lead this year?

I think we should take a vote who should lead it this year, It should be Mark, or Robin, or Paula, or Marde, or Wes, or Matt, or Alan, or Billy, or Brian, or Dr Lapo, or................ I will like to see someone else lead it besides me! Any Takers? Or should we vote?

There we also need Seth and about 6 Rockers to block traffic at intersections!!!

Thanks!

It doesn't matter where you are now. It only matters that you are in Bennington come bash time.

Mark, if Matt is going to ride sweep, I may go on this ride as well. I can rely on another Tiger owner to slap some sense into me if he finds me laying along the side of the road.

More importantly, please be sure to post any updated gpx file on the web page. I've got the 2010 downloaded, but would be interested in any changes. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that I posted a GPX file of the route. Matt, download it from the Rides page. :)

I'm thinking the 2011 Adirondacks Ride will stay the same as last year's. That seemed to be a good route. But I'll take another look at it and see if there's anything that would be best changed.

Sorry for the late reply, Mark- I've got a Garmin Nuvi 550, and I've already got the GPX from the site loaded into it.

I intend to do a map update prior to BTB and then "recalc" it- I recall there was *some* deviation from my map file in last year's route, probably due to an older version of the base map.

Happy to ride sweep, or any other arrangement that helps keep the group together.

Tito's Gaps Ride will have a new route this year -- the Rides page has been updated accordingly.
