Yeah, but MCN has been in Triumph's pocket for this whole pre-release hype-building process. I won't discount Phil West's review out of hand, but I'll be very curious to hear if other reviewers back up his opinion.

I certainly hope so though, because I've officially preordered one.

Well, I've taken the leap of faith. My local Triumph dealer put my name on the official preorder list when it was opened up on Monday, and I stopped in yesterday and gave him a deposit.

So sometime next spring I should have a shiny new Tiger 800 XC in my driveway. Can't wait!
