Yet another damn new guy

Postby morinisteve » Tue Jun 08, 2010 10:27 am

hi, I figured I should join the forum, since I've been to 2 of the Benninghton bashs now. I'm one of those Ahole Rockers guys (how much swearing is allowed here?), with the black Thruxton with the copper and black checkers. I had a great time at the Bash, and a tip of the hat to the promoters. Met a lot of great folks, had a lot of good food, and drank a couple of beers. Cheers to all of you who ventured out to the campsite, and thanks for letting me tag along.

Another new guy here and also a rocker who went this year and last. I have the Blue SV650.

Great event this year. I have been looking forward to it ever since we got back last year and I am already looking forward to next year.

We have a strict anti-antiswearing policy here. We're all a bunch of fucking pottymouths.

Welcome to the forum.

Glad you all made it to the BASH! Rockers are a big part of the event!

See you next year!

Seth, I am surprised you still visit this forum considering their swearing policies. I know how sensitive you get around foul language.

I drank a few beers around the campfire and had a nice visit with Seth and some others. It was nice to see some young guys who are passionate about something other than video games, and these guys really made others feel welcome at their fire this year. There were lots of great folks and great rides this year, and somehow this crowd seems to filter out the assholes, as everyone I talked to was excited about their bike and happy to be sharing some beautiful roads together. Those of you who attend other events know how unusual it is to have such kindred spirits assembled at one gathering, and I can only guess it must come from the same motivation that made us seek out a Triumph in the first place. How refreshing just to ride and relax and not feel like we were all in a pissing contest all weekend! Hats off to Mark, Tito and the rest for creating such an atmosphere, and thanks to all who attended!

Hi everybody. I found this website in time to make it to the bash this year, unfortunately I couldn't stay long. Next year I'll plan ahead better. I was the guy on the white Street Triple. Nice to meet you all. If anyone's in the Middlebury VT area this summer and wants to go for a ride, look me up here.

Mark, I'll be in Burlington tomorrow for work- you may see me in Winooski...

Tito, thanks for the heads up and all. I don't get many free weekends, but we'll have to go cruising around one of these days.

Shytown-it's all good, and I'm pissed at myself for not being able to stay longer. I tell my co-workers all the time- life's no fun without a little ball busting.

I am around on some weeknights too. We can take a ride to T- Road . Getting my new tires installed Saturday morning at Cyclewise on the Speed Triple.
