KIRKSIDE MOTOR LODGE FOR BENNINGTON BASH

I remember reading about the Kirkside before the first Bash and the reviews weren't good so I stayed at the Paradise. Yeah, FUCK this asshole; if he can't figure out where his bread gets buttered then let him starve without us. Tito makes a very good point that we spend some good money in Bennington without any problems so the local business should be wanting us to be there. Anyone who doesn't is simply an idiot who's business isn't worth patronizing. Thankfully we have plenty of folks who recognize (think "Top of the Mountain" ) a great group who are willing to spend some bucks on a good time at a good place.

Here's a couple of links for anyone who is thinking about staying at the Kirkside. It would appear from the reviews that "Old Bill" (otherwise know as "The Fucking Fuck") Does not always take his prozac. I"m guessing his attitude stems from whether or not he is expecting full occupancy for any given night and that is no way to run a Motel. For equal money I would stay at the Paradise for sure and not take a chance. Nothing personal just don't like a-holes even if it's part time.

That's the other part of it. It is not for equal money. The Paradise gives us a little break. For a singles room the Paradise was $70, the Midtown $59 and so on. He is actually almost the highest around Bennington at $94 for a single. On top of that....well you know.

No you just got to understand Billy. He is the type of guy who will run off and leave you roadside dealing with the cops he's just pissed off. Then when they finally catch up with him he says"Who me? I thought you only wanted him" and trying to look innocent at the same time.

Oh and in Billy's vocabulary the word fuck is an adjective to describe just about anything.

I too stayed at the Kirkside last year and it was a little chilly in the room so I went to turn on the heat at night and nothing happened...when I asked the nice woman who did the room cleaning she remarked "that the owner had turned off the heat for the season as it wasn't needed anymore"...That was a new one on me.....I'm paying top buck to stay in nothing spectacular and don't even get heat with the room if I want it?

I decided that would be the last time I stayed there so the Paradise is where I'm at this year...
