2009 Mileage

Postby TonUp » Mon Jan 11, 2010 1:25 pm

I am sure there are a few of you that had more miles than I did this year. Most of mine were in the rain. My goal was 20,000 miles.

23,057 miles for 2009.

Don't know the exact figure, but I'm right around 20,000 miles for '09.

There is one person in this group who rode over 30,000 on a new Scrambler. He even rode up in Iceland this year.

I did 7300 miles on the Tiger. That's a lot for me. I would like to do 10,000 thus year. I guess I better get started!

A bit over 10,000. Some of the best were with Beck49. Another great ride was in VT last year! Cannot wait to do it again. Brian, you gonna lead all day again?!

Would this be the person we ran into at the vintage festival?

He's the man.

Almost forgot. I only did around 8000 this year. One bike didn't work for shit for 4 1/2 months then I bought the Honda in May. I guess that's not to bad for only 7 1/2 months.

Averaging about 8k a year for 3 years running. Just weekend riding no back and forth to work stuff. Usually don't get on the bike unless I can do at least 100 miles.

Another great ride was in VT last year! Cannot wait to do it again. Brian, you gonna lead all day again?!

Already thinking about where to go this year if a small group wants to go a separate way again. Hmmm...5 states in one day? Did 4 last year got to try to do better this year.
