I found a bathroom and shower with no signs, no warnings, one toilet, one shower, plenty of room, plenty of hot water.

Benny, his quip was his off handed way of paying tribute to you being from new york. He clearly read the rules and still wants more benifiets.

Paul,
He was the slight man that was running around on the front loader and Toyota Tundra.

Paul yeah that's him.
Mark, I think he was fine with everyone showering inside, but just be sure you read the 5000 signs on how to wipe your ass :D

It's funny, Ann said something to me (as if I had any influence on anyone else's bathing habbits) about drying off near the shower so the floor doesn't get so wet, but I don't think she realised it was wet cause a shitter overflowed!

Brett, aparently you didn't see the sign about that being the handishower! :D

I just explained to him that my handicap was hidden, so I limped when ever he was near! :)

Then again Ann explained to me that it was available to be used when the others were being used.

besides I was glad that I while I was in there I did not hear any bomb bay doors open, bombs away sptttttttt! Thank you hedge I shall never forget that.

You guys think the bathroom in the lodge was rough, it's a fucking palace compared to trying to take a relaxing crap in the portapotty that they inexplicably put in the road leading up to the group campsite.

I got to enjoy the porta potti on sunday morning. While inside I could hear the sound of Boss Ed's tractor approaching and began to fear he would try to move the damn thing while I was still taking care of business. fortunately made it out in time.

BTW it's Friday June 12 and it's raining here in CT.

Yeah, it rained up here in Vermont most of last week, it was supposed to be really nice this weekend, but instead it's mostly overcast today with rain moving in tonight and lasting into next week.

Sucks, too, because I was planning to do a long ride into NH and Maine tomorrow. Don't think I'll bother with the weather.

11:30 P.M. I see that. From my weather Channel satellite, the pictures look like you guys are pretty well covered in that arena.
I got some good riding in yesterday evening

I ended up doing the ride to NH yesterday after all, but we skipped the Maine part. It was actually dry out when I got up in the morning (to my considerable surprise), and the clouds were moving out with blue sky as far as the eye could see to the west.

Unfortunately, my friend Tim and I were heading east. Made it almost to NH before we hit rain. It rained all the way through NH, but didn't get really bad till we got about 25 miles away from Rochester. By the time we got to where we were going (guy selling a Honda Magna with a sidecar, which Tim wanted to look at for his wife), we were pretty wet. So we asked the guy for a seafood restaurant recommendation, followed his directions (which was easy because we'd passed it on the way in), and had an awesome seafood lunch while we waited for the rain to let up. We just don't have good seafood in Burlington, so it was nice having the real thing.

By the time we were done eating, the weather radar showed the rain having almost cleared the area, so we set off to the west (no point heading up to Maine since it was still raining heavily up that way), and after 10 miles or so the rain stopped and the sun emerged. Headed west through Claremont, NH, then north to Woodstock, VT, and homewards. Made it home at 8:30 with 410 miles on the tripmeter.

Really good ride, despite the wetness. Going to have to do it again sometime with the Maine loop included. Definitely need to eat at that seafood restaurant again.

We had some absolutely awful rain and thunder storms all weekend. Bikes stayed in the garage but we did get the oil changes done yesterday. Both bikes were happy to have a fresh drink after the long trip.

Same in NJ. Was in PA Saturday and he storm came. Rode 95 miles in the heaviest rain experienced while on a motorcycle - no rain gear either [unexpected storm]. I got the "wave" - a passing car hitting pools on the road sending a wall of water into me. I was all pruney when I got home. It sucked...sucked a lot!
Going to invest in a little rain gear!
