I shouldn't have popped onto the site today... it's just making me more miserable about being in Maryland this weekend.

Have a wonderful time everyone! BlueJ and I will be there in spirit and lift a glass to Milo Saturday night. Safe journeys to you all. Be sure to post lots of photos for us!

Cheers,
BonnieLass

Yes thank you BonnieLass, those buttons were great at the bash and mine is now going to get hung up in the office to remind me of the great times we had this year...

You guys will make it next year RIGHT?

I didn't actually get my bike out of the shop until Satruday afternoon, late. I decided to let them replace the springs since they were the ones that didn't ride it hard enough to experience the slipping when I first took it in, plus I just couldn't figure out a good way to lay it over gently.

So took the bike in on zero notice at 1:30pm on a busy Saturday, they called me back 30 minutes AFTER closing time to tell me it was done. Got there, spoke with the tech who said that he went ahead and took the plates out and looked at them because from my description he was concerned about glazing. Said there was indeed some prelminary signs of glazing but all the plates were still flat - he said he roughed out the glaze and got her all buttoned up. Apologized for not catching it the first time. Cost to me: Zero. Plus the sawbuck I put in his hand for getting it done ahead of the squids. Good place.

Our vote is to push the Bash a week or so later in the spring to lessen the amount of rain. But, yeah, we want to be there next year. It was on our "absolutely to do" list since last year and it was only the untimely lapse in WOTability ot my bike that held us back. And we don't ride two-up, and didn't want to ride someone else's bike.

When we get back from our vacation that we leave for in 100 hours maybe you'll have forgiven us.

Cheers!

p.s. And, yeah - really sorry we missed all you guys! We're down for Glastonbury in September!!

I personally handed out every single one of those buttons to people who were attending the bash. Only two people got two buttons. They had some minor issues with their originals. They were a great idea. Thank you.
I am an individual. Just like everyone else.
