I can't believe it's almost here. It looks like I might be riding a Tiger.

LoVel.. Hi how the hell are you... I recall you from TR.net, back in the day when it was a place we had more attachment to ( JasonS mod'd the Trip and gear forums).... I've read some comments lately where the administration is removing all links in posts pointing to other sites... real bad form. SO I am moving my trip report over to ADVr and will be deleting it from trn. I will then follow up with a private letter of congratulations for killing what was once the jewel in the crown of Triumph owner groups.. a shame to see it go down like it is... and no blame on shawn.. it was killing him... and it was his to do what he wished... but it is still a a shame.. I belong to an auto enthusiasts group and one of the websites does a similar thing, not allowing URLs to anything remotely in competition, and it hurts them in the long run.. the saving grace is that it is not a corporate site like trn and cm dot com are now

I so hope you get your bike straightened out... methinks Triumph doesn't understand how bad they look when someone reasonably asks for what they should get and they have to resort to lawyers to get it.... I fully understand when they do it to someone that is being a real asshole in the process, and although you can be seen to be upset, you are also keeping a level head about it....

and if worse comes to worse, you get to ride a Tiger, which is as well know a much nicer triumph... ( cough ) especially if it blue.. .( cough cough)

I myself have a warranty claim request in as we speak... my cooling temp sensor drops out, and the ECU goes nuts trying to make the bike run thinking it is DEAD cold when in fact it is all warmed up... i found where this had happened to a couple of other Tiger owners, with the exact symptoms I am having, so I laid that on them, plus a previous trip to another dealer on the same issue in the records... tick tick... the 1st time it happened I was in a corner and the bike nearly died right there... scared the shit out of me.... it was like the bike was gunna fall down, so I mentioned that and how scary and dangerous an experience it was and that I was lucky I was able to pull up...

as Mr. Monica once said, I feel yer pain...

(update: the new part is on the way! )

I still go over to Trat and post some stuff but you are right. It aint what it used to be.

The Tiger does happen to be Blue. The same color as the Spint I still pay for but don't get to ride.
