Nice pics Mark. It sure looks cold up there, but maybe the temps were warmer than it looked. Glad to see you are scouting out some rides for the bash. I took my bike out two weekends ago for the first time since November and again last weekend. Last Sunday was 60 degrees here in CT, so we are finally starting to get some spring like weather here.

Nice Mark.

I picked up the Thruxton saturday afternoon from Frank's. Only had enough time to ride it to the garage, but I got out for an hour on sunday before heading to work. Hands down the nicest bike i've ever ridden.

Mark, cool pics! Been to Ausable chasm many times and thats the first I've seen it with snow all around. Took that same ferry over to VT. to get to Franks so I could buy a flow through jacket. Wasn't supposed to get into the nineties when I was in the Adirondacks for a week but it definetly did and I was melting in my leathers. So does anyone remember three guys coming into Franks two years ago (two on HD's and one on a Rocket) with the Rocket guy (me) about ready to passout from the damn heat and purchasing a Triumph Jacket? Happy ending though as there is a Pizza joint next door and we downed a couple pitchers of beer before heading to the Magic Hat brewery where they conveniently never recall how many samples you have tried.

Hey Chris take any pics yet?

Damn. What caused the crash -- swerving to avoid the critter, or did you run it over and wash out the front end, or ... ? (I hope you killed the varmint, at least...)

Are you okay? How bad's the bike? Where is it now? Has your insurance looked at it yet?

It happened so fast that i'm not sure if i hit it and it washed the front end or trying to miss it threw me into the speed wobble. I'm ok for the most part. My shoulder hit pretty hard and my ass has quite the road rash. The leathers did there job. I just feel like I had the shit kicked out of me.

You'll be sore as hell for a few days, but glad to hear you're basically fine.

Check your Facebook email -- I've got some ideas that could turn this shitty situation quite a bit less shitty.

I did a ride with Mark. We went to the Brandon Gap and stopped in at Cycle Wise. Unfortunately we met Tito at Cycle Wise :-)

The weather was perfect and the roads were great, even the Ap Gap was is good shape.

We had a good time. Hopefully next weekend will be equally as nice.
