lovel and i went for a little ride yesterday to see the leaves south of here in the talledega national forest. temps in the low 70's, a little under 200 miles of riding. the foliage down here is surprisingly pretty. lots more orange and yellow (oak trees). we found the elusive waldo alabama. we have been searching for waldo for a couple of months.
almost 38,000 miles on my little bonnie. i think that hivel and i are doing the valves on her this winter, new tire on wed. lovel and i are doing that under hivel's watchful and helpful eyes...in hivel's well equipped garage.

Nice. I did almost 300 miles yesterday in the Northeast Kingdom. Temps got up into the 60s, but the leaves are long gone, aside from some dried-out brown ones still blowing around on the ground.
My Bonnie's coming up on 25,000 miles and also needs the valves done.

I do want to go back to Alabama hopefully next year.
I rode a new Ducati Streetfighter on Sunday. So far I have stored 4 of my bikes for the winter. The V-Strom is still out and will be turning 39,000 miles really quickly.
Time to get the Cross Country skis ready.
Take Care!

Wow. Every time I start to catch up, you pull way ahead. My Strom is just coming up on 24,000 miles.

We don't store things for the winter down here.
The VFR is at home today due to Tropical Storm Ida making everything wet but she should be back out and about tomorrow.
