Additional housing options, unfortunately located on the edge of town instead of right downtown (it would be a long walk). But if everything downtown fills up, these places should be able to accommodate us.

Sorry, no food trucks. Haven't found one willing to make the trip. The one that is willing is a catering business, so I have to get an accurate head count to pre pay for a predeterrmined menu. they will deliver & serve, but we would have to set up tables for them to work off of which requires me to rent tables for the event. So the weekend is open for each person to do as they like. if the weather is nice like last year, we all sat around the back pool area & I ordered a bunch of pizzas delivered.

What's the current restaurant situation in Bennington?
Any of our old haunts still in business, any new restaurants/pubs, coffee shops open?

all the regular spots are open as well as a few more that were open last year. the old carmodys across from madisons is now 421 craft bar & kitchen. It is owned by the people at madisons. I heard the food there is excellent from folks that checked it out last year.

There is also a new brewery on the square called farm road brewing.

Our friend Sean who used to have the rattlesnake who now has Harvest Brewing across from the police station/court house now has a food menu. He said his menu would be expanded by the time we are in town next month.
