This isn't about the weather!

Postby Whisperinsmith » Thu May 29, 2008 1:50 pm

For all of you in doubt because of weather forecasts, this event isn't about the weather. Of course we'd love a perfect New England sunny day, but more importantly, this event is about us. It's about meeting our online friends and putting faces to funny online names. It's about laughing at quirky posts and sharing stories.

Don't let raindrops spoil that for you. Hey, the rain will enhance our stories of the Bash! What's the big deal about rain? Think about it. You may miss a time of your life.

(Besides, I've been telling all my friends, Triumph riders aren't wusses.)

For those of us planning on camping out with no way to stay dry it could be considered an issue. But WTF I want to meet you guys and gals so just went out and bought a new tent that actually has some ability to repel water!

Whisper just expressed my feelings exactly! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you, snapping some family photos of us all, getting a group shot, chatting it up, exchanging contact info, and maintaining this unique bond that brought us all together! :)

Jimmy Me too. I have been avoiding work so I could get my end of the month crap done. I have no fucking idea how I am going to sleep tonight. I thought this was going to be just another ride to an event. I was so fucking wrong. This event is making bonds that can't be broken by distance.

They fucking started today without us? I guess we just need to play catch up tomorrow.

The rain will just make the wet t-shirt contest public anyway. I am so in...no man boobs!!!!
