after all these years of the best and brightest steering the bus into the gutter and selling out, I'm not that impressed with experience and connections as credentials or requirements for office...I say throw them all out, with their whores and pimp lobbyists...re-read the founding documents and try it again from square one. I like the original concept of no king/no religiosity overlord, and think that skinny mutant may do it well...I thought Colin Powell had good potential, but he said "fuck you bastards" and showed superior intelligence.

Obama knows he's in the spotlight and has enough of a conscience not to screw it up for anyone who's not WASPy.

Hillary? I have a house full of women, and tho I like them lots, I don't want a PMS finger on the red button.

McCain I like, but he's real white too...his POW history is solid experience, but repubilcans always have a war somewhere and preach fear so the defense contractors get rich.

Libertarians have it right...cut thru the crap, kill the lawyers and give it back to the people, where it should be.

the problem is everyone's not on the same page. you can't be a gentleman in a knife fight...and without extreme education for a generation, the pigs control the bacon production...and people don't want anything but father figures to tell them when to shit.

Israel was a theocracy under the judges, but they wanted a king...they got saul. we're the same...we want a king...can't seem to do it without.

I just let them run the bus anyway they want and chuckle at the foolishness. either the sun runs out of fuel, the meteor hits, the earthquakes and plates reshape, or we die of water pollution and cancer at best...how seriously can you really take the whole thing?

it's not worth working up a sweat over.

at 52 after watching decades of "Bad Nazi" TV shows I got to wondering...the dirty japs sneaked up on Pearl harbor and violated us into WWII...so the story goes...by the mid 60s, paper umbrella and plastic toy "made in Japan" snickers became cars. motorcycles, electronics, and we changed to Japan means quality and sent a fortune in wealth over there...what happened there? the violation was forgiven? OK...I'll buy that...so in that context, what's different with the Krauts? why is that anti-Nazi propaganda still preached hot and heavy? Nazi documentaries wash across my TV screen weekly after 60 years...what's different about that from the dirty japs at pearl Harbor?

...so at 52 I finally read Mein Kampf for myself...figuring I was mature enough and seasoned enough to discern shit from shine-ola.

an eye opener. sure it gets ugly towards the end, but the first 1/2 doz. chapters of basis let me understand why a country that had nuclear, jets, rockets, nice guns, and obviously intelligent people who pretty much shade our world of today from NASA to Mercedes...bar set pretty high...followed that agenda with a 100% approval rating...basic message is "get up off your lazy ass and stop being a schlepp".

we took that and painted a different name on it...then sell it cloaked.

these folks aren't fooling me...and I don't vote...they lie.

youu want to stop the muslim extremists? wipe out the blood line...we have full ability to do so with the weaponry of today in the blink of an eye.

they want a boogie man...fear motivates lemmings, and is a useful tool.

you want to stop all the crap...nuke Jerusalem AND Mecca as a shot over the bow...then follow up if anything twitches astray.

That satelite they just shot down was more advertised display and posture than real threat...it could well have been done under everyone's radar in secret...instead, they use the media to promote, they just don't fool me anymore. nothing happens by chance if governments are involved.

so...as to these political threads...what fool do you promote?
get on the band wagon of your choice and rave on.

...and read Mein Kampf...don't let someone tell you what it says...and what you're supposed to think of it and everything else.

then we'll talk politics.

I Just can't vote for a muslim whose name rhymes with Osama. Osama, Obama, Obama, Osama, .... you see what I mean. Did you guys know the guy's middle initial is H. Know what it stands for? HUSSAIN! You got to be kidding me.

I would never vote for a Democrat, let alone 2 Junior Senators, one from Illinois, and the other from NY, neither of which has passed any type of meaningfull legislation, both who want to raise taxes, and both who would grow the size of Government through their half baked entitlement programs and increased socialism. Both who want to socialize medicine and both think they can use diplomacy to stop Islamofacism. Both are very week on Defense, both liberals are very week on imigration and our border security. BTW, Muslim extremists only understand fear, might/power and terror. Trying to talk your way into peace with these assholes will never work. We tried that. What did we get?... the USS Cole, the Marine Base Bombing in Iran, the Kobar Towers bombing, The Twin Towers in NY, the Train bombing in Spain, and on and on. The Democrats solution...talk, talk, talk. The only things Islamo Terrorists understand are the working end of AR 16, the working end of A-10 wart hog, an or an M1-A1 Abrams bearing down on them. Sorry, in my life time, I have never been able to vote for a Democrat, they are too weak on defense and on capitalism.

PS: For the record, Obama is not a Muslim, but I agree, I don't want him as our next president.

Modre: My family Heritage is OstPreussen , East Prussia .. The Monastic State of the Teutonic Knights,Hohenzollern realm Era (dynasty) ....My Great - Great Grandpa b. 1826.... Emigrated to the U.S.because Prussia was about to be a province of Russia, and settled in New Jersey 1855 then on to Kenosha,Wi. 1856 before Germany wasn't unified until 1871or so . I know about Hitlers Struggle,Propaganda and Lies ,He had infantile sexual tendencies, Lunatic-ville, hell the son of a bitch was born in Austria ,did you know he only won by one or two votes ?Yes , he got the ball rolling Industrially for the war effort and technologies that go with it but most of his greatest physicists defected here. but look at all the innocent lives for the cost of grandiose pride and thinking......(sounds like todays politics)You ought to read Sieg Heil ! then talk to me about Middle European politics. I know all about our founding fathers here as well ,Washington wanted to retire as a distinguished English country gentleman , Didn't work out that way.for example "Washington wanted to call our nation the "Empire of America" Hmmmm. Didn't work out that way either. Although , he still deserves the moniker"His Excellency" though..... unlike Julius Caesar and Oliver Cromwell before him,and Napoleon , Lenin and Mao after him , he understood that the greater glory resided in posterity's judgment . If you aspire to live forever in the memory of future generations you must demonstrate the ultimate self- confidence to leave the final judgment to them. And he did......Jefferson:Could really never acknowledge the depth of his own political ambitions.... That was the egg that finally developed the early split between Govnmt. Hence : Democrat- Republican.( Although it wasn't named yet,) We can go on and on but the one thing I can agree upon as with our founding fathers is to keep "small Government" Someday there could be another American Revolution and I hope the right people can take the helm again , otherwise I suppose I'll see you at Armageddon, let's see , wouldn't that be present day Pakistan ? " The meek shall inherit the Earth"Because there won't be anybody too much left and that fight will be for all the balls. Speed.

I just can't handle the thought of Hillary in office. For me, that leaves Obama and McCain.

The thing I find refreshing about Obama is his healthy curiousity about the world around him. Inexperienced? Sure, but so was Baby Bush when he first took office. The difference is that Bush had all the answers, and surrounded himself with like thinkers. Hell, anybody in his inner circle who dared voice an independent thought was given the boot.

Obama freely admits when he doesn't know something, then dives in and learns. And that BS about his name rhyming with Osama...have you ever heard an infant protesting about the name his parents bestowed upon him? Give me a break!

But in these days of polarized politics, when our politicians are not Americans, but rather Democrats or Republicans, I just don't see him being allowed to accomplish anything. I don't think he'll know how to handle the sort that would rather see this nation go down the tubes than to allow the other side to score a point. Really sad that it's come to that...

I like McCain. I like that the establishment and the Christianists dislike him so much. I think there's enough steel in the man to handle opposition constructively. I just hope he doesn't select some religious zealot as a VP.

Back in 2000, a McCain/Powell ticket would have had my vote in a heartbeat!

I agree with you about Obama. To me life is a lot about perspective, and I think he has a unique one. And he's the only one of the major players that is remotely interesting to listen to, regardless of what he is actually saying. Some of the other guys we dont hear from anymore DID have some interesting ideas, and actually would have been real change, but they aren't getting the votes.

Ironic don't you think? That people seem to want all this change, but they don't want these kinda radical thinkers around? TOO much change maybe? Instead we just get people talking ABOUT change.

Throwing in a hand full of Tomahawk Missiles wouldn't hurt my feelings either!

I agree more with this statement above than anything else! These Motherfuckers are religious zealots who are committed to die for their beliefs - true or untrue. They need to be re-educated and the quickest way to re-educate motherfuckers like these pieces of shit is at the business end of an American weapon of war!

you said it hedge! Could the handfull of Tomahawks be Naval Based? Like, say, an Arleigh Burke, Flight II-A Class Aegis Destroyer? That would really make my day. And If the USS Cole could be re-deployed, it would be poetic justice if those missels could be launched from that ship. You know, a little reciprocity. Or better yet the new SanAntonio Class LPD, The USS New York (city) is deployed, lets deploy the missles from that ship. It has steel built in it that came from the Twin Towers.

Oh wait, this is the Obama board. If Obama has his way he talk them into tears and may the Islamo Fascists will just quit. I can here it now...."Yes We Can".....

LOL
