Reservations made. Pig paid for. Dinner paid for. 50/50 tires bought to replace the off road tires that came with the bike. Just need to swap out tires and change the oil.

Two months to go. Can hardly stand it. Ready to go.

Baby's got a new pair of shoes. Hope I didn't pinch a tube in the process. Don't need that crap again going down the interstate at 80 MPH. That is the last time I will ever change my own tires. The older I get the more difficult it gets. Cell phone and credit card at the ready.

Just need to do it more often, Paul -- practice makes perfect!

Actually, I highly recommend sealing the rear wheel using the Outex kit and running it tubeless. I did it on my Tiger, and it holds air better than any tube ever did -- and tire changes are a lot easier now. You still have to run a tube in the front tire -- the rim has no safety bead so it's not a good idea to run it tubeless -- but that one's less of a pain to deal with anyway.

Less than 2 weeks for me before I hit the road. Got the new Tiger almost ready. Still need to change the oil but that should be a no brainer. Just have to make time. I have replacement tubes for the front and rear of the Tiger so Bubba Cletus doesn't have to use a tube for the John Deere if I need one in east bumble fuck West Virginia or east bumble fuck Vermont for that matter.

Broke down and bought myself some new clothes for the trip. New Darien Light jacket and pants. Really looking forward to this and yes I have test rode the new duds. Excellent stuff.

Looking forward to some home made cookies. See all of you in Bennington in just a few.

Peace

I'll know Sat night if I can attend. State Cup (soccer) qualifying game is this Sat at 2:30. Win and we're in. Loser goes home.
I guess I win either way but having missed last year was painful. I love the Bash! If I don't make it have one of those delicious New England juicy IPA's for me!

'Stitch stuff is really great. unfortunately due to some unplanned expenses and a bad purchase off ADV rider (just can't seem to resell that wrong size Roadcrafter pants) so I had to pass on other Darien pants and jackets that were for sale.

Cookies are on the to-do list. Haven't decided what to make this trip, by now every one must be tired of chocolate chip and peanut butter. Must say I can't compete with "Mrs Jeff" assortment at the banquet. any word on how Jeff is doing?

I plan to be up on Thursday. see you there.

Reservations were made last year at the time of checkout, will have to call and verify.
Pig roast paid for, x2.
Saturday dinner paid for, x2.

New tires on the T800, all else checked. Son's Bonneville not sorted (probable coil fail) but hope to have it fixed.

I see no mention of T-shirts. Is that topic verboten? If not and they're not already 'on the loom', I'd like to suggest the year be added somewhere. I have several now (not all) and I have to do mental mathematics to figure out what years I attended.
