Jim, Since my son is going on his first long weekend riding trip he doesn't have the funds to buy all the gear needed to ride and camp so I will miss the "hypothermia roulette"! We will be coming into Bennington Thursday night so we can run some roads Friday before the fun begins.

I was hoping to make my return to the Bash this year, but my health won't allow it. I've been dealing with Lymphoma since Early July of last year, Had a really rough time for several months after that, But all indications are I should see the far side of this ordeal this summer.
I plan on beating this crap and get back up there next year!

Rachael and I will be coming. Not so sure about the barbecue though, I didn't much like the under cooked chicken either.
Still have the Tiger and Rachael will probably ride her Ducati, but maybe the T-bird.

John,

Looking forward to seeing you and Rachael adn the other BTB'ers again.

Sorry to hear about your chicken, My piece was cooked perfectly and the pork was perfection (and I don't really like BBQ).

hope you decide to try again.

Less than three weeks before I head out on my motorcycle adventure which includes a stop at the Bennington Triumph Bash. Have purchased a new Wolfman dry bag. Got the large one. Seems very roomy. Should be able to get everything in it with no problem. Put my tent and sleeping bag and sleep pad in it and loaded it on the bike and went for a test ride. Seems to ride very well even at 90 mph.

Bought the Deltran charger for the mobile phone. Just plugs into the connector for charging the motorcycle and has a USB port. Will need to reroute the charger connection from the back of the bike to the front so the phone can be in my tank bag but that should be a piece of cake. Don't plan on using the phone much but it would really suck if I needed it and the battery was dead.

Really looking forward to this.
I am an individual. Just like everyone else.

Looking forward to see you there Brother.
Adventure, it will be. You have a lot of miles in front of you just to get to the Bennington Triumph Bash.
I should be rolling in Thursday 5/31 late afternoon early evening.

I'm looking forward to returning to the Bash after a few years of other conflicts prevented me from attending. Bringing two new riders with me to the Greenwood for some camping this year. Need electricity for my CPAP, so we're at either site 3 or 4 near the pond.
I always lay out some new routes with good eating as part of the requirement, so if anyone wants to join our group of three, we'll be riding moderately and enjoying the scenery. I'll be on the beautiful Pimento Red '95 Tiger behind Hemmings on Saturday if you are interested :)

PS - Are there still tee shirts every year, or did that get to be too big a pain? I did them for two or three years, but probably too late to get them done this year if someone else has not already stepped up?

Fingers crossed for some clear skies!

PPS for LoVel - If you are routing near Lewisburg PA on the way up, Steel Steeds Motorcycle Campground is awesome! Great owner and not expensive.

No shirts this year. I do them when I have the time. I do it as a favor at cost and it turns into a job. I just didn't have the ambition to do it this time. Sorry. For future reference, if someone has a design or graphic they can send send me, I can forward to the printer and it makes my life a lot easier. Maybe next year.

Looking forward to seeing you again though!

No worries. I was late to the party this year after another long trip got cancelled. Now that I am retired, we try to get away for the long rides before the public schools get out for the summer.
I have an awesome graphic of a Steamer that I made by scanning the owners manual graphic and then cleaning it up in Paint. Probably not appealing to the folks riding Bonnies and Rockets though :teehee:
