All I can say is if you're even thinking about a new Bonnie don't ride this motorcycle unless you're prepared to write the check. It's that good right out of the box.

Yes, that's the way I felt about my V7 vs trading her in for the V9 I rode home from Bennington.

My dad bought a T120 last fall, and I took it out for 100 miles when I visited for Thanksgiving. Terrific bike! I was even pleasantly surprised with the stock suspension -- while it's nothing spectacular, it's certainly not bad.

My only nitpick is with the 270-degree crank. With the different firing order, it no longer feels like a Bonneville. It feels like a very smooth V-Twin that looks like a Bonneville. There's something about that BRAAAP you get out of the traditional 360-crank Bonnie when you crack the throttle open that gives the older bikes a certain personality, and that's lacking from the new bikes. For the purist in me, that's a shame... though it certainly wouldn't stop me from owning what's an otherwise outstanding motorcycle.
