Found key

Anyone lose a key during the Bash? A Triumph key was found on Convent Ave. so most likely lost the night of the dinner. If it's you, send me an email and I'll put you in touch with your lost thingy.

Good news after bad, then - that sucks that he had to truck it. I'll look to get an email from him then get him his key.

I have some follow-up information about the meet and greet at Hemmings, too. I'll send that to you off-list, too boring for the whole forum.

Amazing! Yes, I had to uhaul home since I stupidly didn't bring an extra key- however, as I drove through torrential wind and rain on the way back to Philadelphia, I was thinking maybe it was a happy accident :-)

I will email you offline. Thanks again!

Who brings an extra key with them :dunno:

I was one of the last stragglers to leave and, I saw your bike still there. I figured you were just sleeping in.
I really felt bad when I first heard you lost your key.
I am glad to hear it was found and, you will be getting it back.
You didn't have to ride home in the poring rain.
I'm not sure if you are lucky or not :scratchhead:

I always have my extra key with me. You could steal my bike if you knew where to look for it, though you'd have to fight me off as I'm always close to it.

It's just too much bother to find a friend with a truck who's willing to come and haul me home, so this is something I've done ever since my first new bike in 2000 which actually came with two keys. I think it's a Murphy's Law thing. If you have it you'll never need it, if you don't have it...you might.

Update: Key arrived in the mail today from the individual who found it. Thanks again, everyone!

I'm going to have a dupe made for both my bikes and keep them in "useful" places.
