Everybody must be saving up all their energy for the Bash. Hasn't been anyone around here in days. It is something like a month and a half away. Come out come out where ever you are.

Yeah, it's been uncharacteristically quiet here.

Dinner registration is filling up pretty fast though. Already around 55 seats filled.

That is good news. Should be a full house.

I think we have all been too busy getting our riding itch scratched. Just got back from chili dog lunch on bikes with my son. He ran out of gas and forgot to turn to reserve. I road back to see what happened and he had already drained the battery on the Scram trying to start it. I turned the reserve on and put my battery in his. Fortunately there was a big hill really close so I just waddled the bike to the crest of the hill and let her roll. The engine caught after I popped the clutch. It was pretty fun actually. He forgot about the reserve so it was a good lesson and fortunately I was with him. Now he just needs a new battery to be safe. That took the whole time up of my lunch time getaway ride. It is 70 degrees and I think I need to go on an appoitnment in the field.

See you all next month.

Paul, I forgot to wish you a safe ride up for you and Robin. I presume the Scram and Bonneville will make the journey.

Sad to say no. We will be driving due to some unavoidable circumstances. It sucks but we do what we gotta do.

We're up to 52 people for the Saturday dinner. And we're still six weeks out from the BTB. I have no doubt that it will fill up.

Well after missing last year's BTB due to a wisdom tooth issue, I am reserved at the Paradise and hope to see everyone from past BTBs.

I finally got my 2007 America fired up this past weekend after thinking it was just a weak battery and carb issue, but then pulled the spark lead and guess what... no spark. OK so I take a look at the wire and coil and they're both contaminated with nasty greenish corrosion. Hmm probably not a good sign. Ordered up some new wires and coils from Brent and lo and behold the bike fired right up. Thank god for the nice aftermarket support we Triumph riders enjoy.

Anyway even though I don't have as much time to post on this board and others, a spring weekend in VT is just too good to miss. See you all in Bennington :)

Best,

Pat

As long as you both get here safely, don't care how.
