Gas tank range

My SPEED TRIPLE is not very good on gas, I can go about 125-150 max on a tank of fuel. How far can you go? I am planning fuel stops 100-125 miles apart for our Saturday ride. Is this O.K. with everyone? I am trying to figure out which gas stations we can utilize that can accommodate a large group of bikes. Plus I have to incorporate fuel stops as breaks too.
Thanks!

I switch to reserve at 100 miles but my bonne gets the shit run out of it.

So will 125 miles be OK for you? The Bonnies seem to go a lot farther than the S3, my little yellow warning light comes on way too early and I cant trust it, I ran out of fuel once already. And I love riding that bike but I hate pushing it! LOL

Hey Tito!
I can get up to 150 with my America, but I usually fuel up every 100-125 miles, just to be on the safe side.

I hit reserve at around 100 miles when riding around in town, but out on the open road I make it to 135 or 140 miles.
We'll have to do a dual-sport ride sometime this spring, but then we'll need to stop for gas every 75 miles. My Honda's tank only holds 2.8 gallons, of which nearly a third is reserve, and it only gets 40mpg. Pathetic.

To be on the safe side - I usually begin looking for a gas station at 100 miles. After that it is a crap shoot depending on how aggressive i've been with the twist!

My Tiger is good for 150 miles but I can't sit in the saddle that long anyway!

I think 100 miles +/- 25 miles is a good safe zone. Finding gas stations with a good quickie mart is good too!

I have the route all mapped out and gas stations are not a problem I was just trying to figure out the logistics based on a large group of bikes. 100 miles is ok. I also want to keep the fuel stops brief say 20 minutes. Cigar, bathroom break, snack, coffee or mingling.
PS I can get 275-300 miles on my V-Strom, but the Speed Triple is the bike I will be riding at the BASH so 100-125 is the norm.
Thank you all for replying!

Depending on my riding choice I can go from 150 to 200 miles on my sprint. The average is 180mpt. Stopping every 100-125 is fine with me. gives us time to chat and relax

The Americas & Speedmasters are usually good for a little over 100 on the main tank when tuned for HP.
