2 Questions for the Campers from a BTB NUBE

Postby GrumpyGrampy46 » Sat May 10, 2014 8:06 am

First time BTBer with a few questions.

1. Is the group site open to all or set up for a specific group?

2. Is any meal prep done at the campsite or is it just a place to party and crash?

From reading the forum, it appears that there was a mix up on reserving the regular group site, but they have another group site available that they are going to be using this year, so it's all good. I think upon reserving and paying for the site you should let them know you want to be part of the group site and pay accordingly. The owners can explain it all I'm sure. I haven't camped since year 3 but if I recall, there isn't much for food prep done there. Everyone does their own thing. Most people eat on the rides, the BBQ ride, etc. See you there.

Just contact Ed and Ann (Greenwood owners) and let them know you want to camp on the Bennington Triumph Bash group site; it's arranged by the Connecticut Rockers, but is open to anyone. Ann can fill you in on the rest.

There is no meal prep done there. Dinner on Friday is part of the ride over to the BBQ place; small groups usually meet up by their own arrangements on Saturday and Sunday mornings; lunch Saturday is wherever you stop on your ride; dinner Saturday is sort of the main event in Bennington. If you haven't registered for the dinner, please do so; it would also be a good idea to preregister for the Friday BBQ. You can find all the information on the main website (click on the Bennington Triumph Bash logo at the top of this page if you came here directly instead of going through the main website).
