NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I loved that place.

Shite, first the little breakfast place down the street, then Carmody's, then no banquet at the Station and now the Rattlesnake!!

Still rather be there then going south!

Maybe it's time to move the bash in the future. Maybe Manchester or Brattleboro or near one of the ski area's?

might not be a bad idea. I almost stayed in Manchester this year anyhow. The ski areas would probly love the business and certainly have the room this time of year.

Funny you should mention that. Alan and I were mulling over possibly moving the Bash up to Burlington next year. It would still be the BTB that way, but there are a lot more options up this way.

But before anyone makes any plans or a major discussion starts, it was just an off-the-cuff idea, not a firm plan.

no camping, no reasonably priced restaurants and overpriced loging, tons of tourist traffic....Manchester is a bad idea.

The ski area condos are cheap to stay in off season plus they have 2-3 bedrooms for sharing. I go to Stratton every summer for a week and it's very reasonable.

I worked in Manchester for about 12 years, on and off, just not a fan of the area...I guess I'm not a resort town type of girl.

Burlington is a pretty big town, though(by VT standards), Plus a good bit further, but last time I spent time there(late 80's), there were plenty of drinking establishments....
Wait, we'd be closer to Tracy Rd.... :plusone:

Burlington has a lot going for it -- lots of places to stay, great food options, great riding in northern Vermont and the Adirondacks, plus I could host a Friday night shindig at my place 20 miles north of Burlington.

We'll see. It's something to think about.

here is a comment from Sean, the owner of the Rattlesnake:

Thanks Alan, we are definately going to miss you guys this year. You were one of our favorite groups to pass through town. I am working with a few people who are interested in re opening the snake so keep an eye on the web site. I wish you and your whole crew all the best. Safe and happy riding, sean
