2014 BBQ Ride

Postby amrehm » Sun Apr 06, 2014 10:15 pm

Friday May 30th BBQ Ride

This years BBQ ride will be to Top of the Hill BBQ in BRATTLEBORO, VT. We will plan on leaving the Meet & Greet from the parking lot of Bennington Station around 3:00 & riding as a group to the BBQ joint arriving there no later than 5:00. Rain or Shine.

They will be setting up a buffet similar to years past which will include - 2 meats, 3 sides & a bottle of water.

The cost will be $18.00 cash in advance to Alan (amrehm) at the Bennington Station prior to departure. Price includes gratuity. Upon payment you will receive a wrist band. The wristband will be required to eat.

I will need to try & get a general head count about a week prior, so if you are planning on attending the BBQ, please reply using the poll on this thread. I do realize there are a bunch of people that do not follow this forum, so if you know of someone who isn't on here & you know they are coming, please include them in your count & let them know they will have to pay cash in advance.
Anyone who is meeting us at the BBQ & not riding as a group will have to locate me & pay/get your wrist band prior to eating.

AGAIN THIS IS RAIN OR SHINE...WHEN I GIVE THEM THE HEAD COUNT I HAVE TO PAY, SO IF YOU ARE A FAIR WEATHER RIDER & WILL BACK OUT DUE TO RAIN, DO NOT INCLUDE YOURSELF IN THE TALLY UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO PAY ME FOR THE NO-SHOW.

I have included a poll to help keep count. This will account for YOU & a PLUS 1.

Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for the Paypal option. I'm leaving from work in Glens Falls at 3:15 and riding straight to Brattleboro, so I'll have to grab my ticket at the Barbecue. Thanks!

Bought a BBQ ticket via PayPal. Hopefully we hit the minimum!

I think there are people that are pre-paying but aren't clicking on the poll. My prepay numbers keep going up but the poll is staying the same.

My dad bought one but he's not forum-savvy. :)

The votes I put in counted for myself and my friend.

I just voted and paid (twice) for myself and my girlfriend (Pam).
Haven't decided yet whether to go all the way to Bennington first and ride with the group or just meet in Brattleboro.
